I don’t like films or books about WW1 as it always hurts me. As a Russian I don’t know what were 2 000 000 our soldiers sacrificed for. Also WW1 had 3 very bad sequences for my country. I mean October Revolution , the civil war and WW2. When I start to think what would be if … if …if I fall into depression. Besides in USSR WW1 was not advertised and in a great degree it was a forgotten war. So I almost always divert my attention. Concerning WW2 at least I know what was the sense of the war as well as the Great Victory we enjoyed in the end.

But for Serbs WW1 was something different. Not only they found themselves in the epicenter but they suffered the heaviest losses without any sin on them. One citizen of Austro-Hungary killed the Prince of his country and he proved to be a Serb. These days Russian mass media pay much attention to WW1 and what is new they tell much about the atrocities Vienna Germans committed against Serbs. As we know today World War starts when Germans attack Slavs … Serbs are being hated because they like the Russians fight till their last blood and like us they too hate to live in a cage even a golden one.
