I don't know if he is bi-polar, or has some sort of cybil thing going on ( multiple personality disorder ) but he has made overtures to Iran while actively prosecuting a terrorist campaign on their ally Syria (He was recently caught preparing a false flag in Syria), and had hot and cold relations with Israel. The Gezi park protests ,according to Erdogan, were foreign orchestrated by foreign powers (He has refused to name any) and had nothing to do with his Islamic agenda. So were the recent corruption scandal whereby AKP ministers ,their relatives and even Erdogan’s son were caught with large amount of cash stuffed in shoe boxes in their own houses.
The fact of the matter is Turkey is intrinsically unstable, and now the US sees Erdogan as a non-submissive ally of Iran, Turkey is targeted for possible break-up balkanisation. The creation of an independent Kurdistan in Northern Iraq and subsequently encompassing the Turkish Kurdistan will serve the neocon’s interests in the middle East.

The death toll in Gaza has risen to 609 (of which an estimated 75% or more were civilians) with yesterday's strike (which claimed 40 lives, including 13 women and children), while the Palestinians have killed 29 Israelis, of which only 2 were civilians, the rest soldiers, the ones who are slaughtering their people with impunity.

This alone shows that even the poorly armed "rabid Jihadists" are considerably more civilized than the barbaric and bloodthirsty Israelis, who have no qualms in enforcing a violent Apartheid state ala South Africa prior to 1990, but also have no problems in killing hundreds of innocent civilians (in just this one conflict alone).

Is it because of their stance on Kosovo that you back this terrorist state? I can't think of any other reason.

Even though this is a case of the pot calling the kettle black (given Turkey's track record with the Kurdish minority), I can say that for the first time, I agree with him. Israel is a terrorist state and their actions against the Palestinians are unforgivable. America should be ashamed of itself for their unwavering support of this rogue nation. Where are the American air strikes against Israeli infrastructure like they had against Serbia, Iraq and Afghanistan? Where are the embargoes like Apartheid South Africa had?

Giving the Kurds a unified state of their own might make sense.

States that are based on religion aren't a good thing and Erdogan is too much down that route.

Returning Turkey to good old secular Mustafa Kamal ways would be an improvement.

Mind you, even American presidents have the perpetual sickness of finishing speeches with 'God Bless America'.

However, I look askance at the behaviour of its leaders who think nothing of murdering babies and children in the name of protecting themselves. nor do i approve of the various messages I have been reading and seeing of mad Jewish settlers who proclaim that hating Arabs is not racist but a value. this really doesn't sit well with the philosophy of that wonderful Jewish thinker Spinoza. there is an inherent danger that Israel is creating a truly racist state, one based solely on religious doctrine, on race and one that is applying torture on a different group of people. i have also come to notice that any criticism of Israel is deemed anti-semitic, which is quite weird, because any sane human being would be horrified at the treatment the Palestinians are getting from those you call civilised. For the sake of the truth,palestinias are staunch supporter of Serbia on Kosovo issue.For them Kosovo is Serbia and thay have repeated many times oficcially and unofficially,alianating K-Alb.

Unlike palestinians,Israel on the other hand has more pragmatic view about Kosovo.They have promised to recignize Kosovo by the end of this year.

Not surprising, this opinion. Similar to Serbia under Milosevic and its actions in Kosovo. Instead of fighting terrorism with police means, they start bombing and destroying whole villages and families, because some 'terrorists' were living there, without any problems with the 'collateral damage of 100s of killed innocent civilians.

Anyway, compared to the usual nonsense coming from Erdogan, his sentence about Israel is not so far from reality.

Hamas is determined to exterminate the Jews. They said so themselves. They openly say that Israel has no right to exist. So tell me then, who is rabid and who is civilized?
With that attitude and putting their own civilians in harms way by committing a war crime (using civilians as human shields is a war crime) Israel has no choice but to attack the areas they are being attacked from. They have become legitimate targers. If Hamas wants to protect civlilians they should get out of schools and hospitals and attack from other areas.

I doubt whether Miamonides, Einstein, Spinoze and other wonderful Jewish thinkers would approve of what's become of Israel today.
