You are a very funny person, you can try to deny, contest all you want and criticize the western press,Y and all you have to offer is the tales of sj!
You have no facts (ever) to back up what you say and you think you can fool someone into believing you, just because?
The 8000 is a well established number, but the number is not as relevant as vicious cruelty of the Serb forces on the other ethnic groups of Balkans. The world knows the truth and you have no more chance of convincing otherwise than deniers of the holocaust do.

Another witty comment from the AE. It must have taken you a long time to compose this one liner. But we can always rely on you to provide some useless or idiotic statement.

You mean idiotic statements like this?

"Having said that we will continue to see the reburials for the next 100 years in the hope that Serbs admit to genocide, but to do that you have to ask one question – How many women and small children were killed by those Serbs?
Not F******* one!!!! The defence rests."
----------

Perhaps you can tell me if the Serbs committed genocide by killing 8000 Bosnaioks what do you call the US and their allies in Iraq where they dispatched over 100 000 people? Or what do you call the actions of that helicopter crew that gunned down unarmed civilians in Bagdad that Wikileaks put on the internet???? Perhaps that’s democratic killing.
(sj, 18 July 2014 06:28)

Genocide is not just based on the number of people killed but it requires genocidal INTENT. Killing even one person may be genocide if it was done with the INTENT to destroy, in whole or in part, a national, ethnical, racial or religious group, as such. However, even though it's an abomination and a crime, killing 298 civilians like the rebels did in East Ukraine is not genocide because they did not do it with the INTENT to destroy, in whole or in part, a national, ethnical, racial or religious group, as such.

Yep, the defendant would really be grateful for the defense above resting so it could stop doing further damage to defendant's cause :)

I suppose if I can organise the world press to print that you are a fool, you would believe it without question. No independent group (I mean independent not Amnesty or other so called human rights groups that turn the other way to western war crimes) have confirmed this so called 8 000 killed in Srebrenica.
While you’re at it look up genocide in a quality dictionary and you will find that it means everyone, men women and children regardless of age – like in Rwanda – now that was genocide, not this Srebrenica BS.
What I have said is fact but, hey why worry about that. The only thing that matters is that we keep on signing the same and perhaps the Serbs will finally admit they did it.

At the time Srebrenica was taken about 5,000 armed Bosniaks crossed over into Serbia and were taken by western aircraft to various parts of the world, some were even brought to Adelaide Australia. It was then that the story of a massacre started in western newspapers and they actually used the number 5,000 people killed not armed troops but people.
When they realised their story was coming apart it when t up to 10,000 and then finally settled on 8,000. Despite individuals like the Bosniak’s chief of police for the Srebrenica region being quoted in an interview that Izetbegovic wanted a “massacre” to try and stop the war and went so far as floating a few ideas such as sending in people to kill Bosniaks with knives. The former CIA operative, Robert Baer, also said that Srebrenica was a scam.
So the Dutch claim 300. Well when you dig up the bodies of soldiers that fell in other battles and claim they were killed by Serbs in Srebrenica, I’m surprised the toll is not 1,000,000. Having said that we will continue to see the reburials for the next 100 years in the hope that Serbs admit to genocide, but to do that you have to ask one question – How many women and small children were killed by those Serbs?

Really bad title B92. This sentence from the article would have been better as a title: " Dutch UN peacekeepers guilty for failing to protect thousands of Muslims killed in Srebrenica."

Probably not that many. People are just confused and think that looking for, or finding, or saying out loud bad things that "their" people did is somehow unpatriotic.

A lot of people that spread hate here are also probably children of people that were genuinely victimized by the balkans wars and have a hard time accepting that mostly it was Serbian political violence that was a precursor to the actual violence.

It's a strange kind of cowardice, but I'll admit that I don't understand what it's like when your whole social circle is telling you something and you get used to repeating things you've heard and have been told to be suspicious of everything you hear except for gossip at the Serbian church lunch.

An interesting study, at any rate.

Oh I agree it is a collateral guilt, it does not diminish the Serbian guilt or their part in this genocide at all.

The Dutch were weak when they should have been strong.

I hope that this won't discourage them from taking responsibilities in the future. Instead it should teach them of the necessity of being strong.

There were disgusting things done in the name of Serbia. Sadly.

The murderous criminal nationalistic minority have done much to wreck Serbia's good name. It was them who were actually responsible for the murder - not the Dutch. The Dutch just didn't know how to keep those wicked idiots under control.

Your analogy is not even close, nothing about Srebrenica could be compared to a car "accident" it was intentional, brutal, and merciless.
A better analogy would be to have a sniper on a roof shooting anyone on the street and you open the door and tell everyone it is safe to go outside.
Did you actually kill them? no, but you could have prevented it if you would have just let them stay inside.

B92, the headline is confusing. The verdict ruled 'jointly responsible', and not 'responsible'. It's obvious that mainly Bosnian Serbs are responsible. It's like when someone has a car accident and you see it and don't help the injured person.

I hope this mistake wasn't done by purpose.
