My argument is pure and simple, Milosevic revoked the autonomy of Kosovo that had been granted to Kosovo and then he went on a cleansing campaign of Albanians throughout Kosovo wanting to make it all Serbian, he did this by closing the state factories and the schools and public service catering to Albanians, when Albanians protested he become more brutal and stepped up his mission through police and military units. To the tune that the UNSC issued 4 resolutions calling on Serbia to stop the brutal assault on the people of Kosovo.
As a result of this brutality you have a resolution by the UNSC without a single vote against that stripped Serbia of any control over the land of Kosovo, and placed it under UN control. This is totally an unprecedented action and one that has not been repeated.
Now if you have a similar incident in the world that is supported by the highest governing unit of the world, then I will entertain any arguments that you have about "equality".
