Russia is culturally, militarily (The JNA was almost completely financed by Russia), and interiorily related. China has great relationships with Serbia because of trade and both countries dealing with interior problems (China with Tibet and not as much Taiwan, Serbia with Kosovo). Also, if you want to play 1244, it states that Yugoslavia can't be split up, and since it does not exist anymore because of the secession of Montenegro (2006) and a year of unfailed talks (Late 2007), Kosovo has the right to seceed. I know, truth hurts...

For one, it's completely depended on Western handouts to even be as impoverished as it currently is. Then there's the whole UN thing. When the last (real) countries declared independence- Montenegro & South Sudan, they joined the UN within months. It has been 6 years of apparently strong Serbian gov't support of your delusional fairytale of independence and strong Western lobbying, and you are still being denied entry into organizations without Serbia's approval.

As I've said many times before, if the Kosovo-Metohija of today with all its poverty, crime and its disputed status is being hailed as some sort of victory, then I feel very confident of the future.
