PM: No change in position on Ukraine

Aleksandar Vučić said on Tuesday that Serbia's position on Ukraine remains unchanged, and that Serbia will not sever its friendly relations with Russia.

Yesterday Russian Deputy Security Council Evgeny Lukianov stated that “the US hegemony in the world has come to an end and it’s time to sit down and negotiate the results of the cold war”.

I guess everybody understands that in nowadays Russia such statements are not made without the highest approval. In Europe people believe that Russia is scared by the possible sanctions but here I can see Russia is fast moving towards a sieged camp mentality when nobody is going to surrender. One month ago 30% of the Russians insisted on sending troops to Ukraine while today it is 40%. By the way yesterday victims on both sides exceeded 100 men plus the ukrotroops lost 6 tanks , 8 armored vehicles 2 bomber-fighters SU-25 Grach ect. The situation is worsening very fast while the economy is close to a collapse. Thus running before the horse would be the worst thing Serbia can do. Best is Belgrade takes it’s time and makes neutral statements like ЛУЧШЕ БЫТЬ БОГАТЫМ И ЗДОРОВЫМ , ЧЕМ БЕДНЫМ И БОЛЬНЫМ.
