Ari, Over 55% of the countries of world recognize Kosovo in its current boundaries. That means more countries recognize Kosovo than recognize Serbia under the borders it claims.

Just felt like pointing this out.

All pavicevic and djuric do is work every day for Kosovo independence. Supporting voting on republic of Kosovo ballots and having ambassadors and border guards and customs agents and being members of seecp etc. if Serbia really didn't support Kosovo independence and followed the Serbian constitution that says Kosovo is a part of Serbia all Serbs would just drive right through that border post!

Yes, Serbia helps you so much to become a state. And still, no universal recognition. Must suck to be Albanians, strong Western lobbying, apparently Serbian support and STILL the world wont accept you.

Oh yea, go tell your ultra nationalists comrades that Serbia is helping you because they are violently rioting on your streets over agreements with Serbia. So if Pristina is "winning", they must have not gotten the memo

;)

Then why were they turned away? Should they have received a formal motorcade into Kosovo?

If Marko Duric resisted or disobeyed Kosovar "popos" would the authorities have charged Duric with unauthorized entry onto foreign soil. As long as many Kosovars consider their land to be sovereign, therefore and as far as they're concerned Kosovo is a foreign country.

Incidentally I have a question that I'm directing to Albanian viewers which is if you recall me mentioning a few years back "popo" is an American slang term or rare American slang term for police and 'po' means 'yes' in Albanian so my question to you Albanian viewers is would most of your compatriots find it confusing or hilarious that police are nicknamed 'popo' in America? If they find it weird is their general reaction to exclaim "cfare??" in a confused tone of voice (cfare means what in Albanian)and is it likely that most Albanian adults find "popo" to be a weird term for police but would many Albanian or young Albanian kids giggle or burst out laughing if you inform them that in America police are sometimes nicknamed "popo?" Ask your fellow Albanians and please let me know what they think, also,I'd appreciate a civil response from someone.Thanks.

Awww, some people in Pristina are still upset over the Peace Park. What better way to show disappointment than pouting and sulking :)
