Lots has changed in Kosovo since 2004. You should visit sometime this place that's just some sort of weird idea for you. It's a real place, you know. Time marches on. Things change.

Ok, what? What has changed? More specifically, what has changed for the persecuted Serbs of Kosovo-Metohija? Like I said, at this point, you either are lying on purpose or are extremely ignorant about the very idea that ethnically motivated crimes are committed against Serbs very regularly not just in Kosovo-Metohija, but also in Croatia. Thankfully Serbs fought and won Republika Srpska, so such a trend didn't continue in Bosnia.

You might want to check your clock, Ari. It's 2014, not 2004

And what exactly do you think has changed in Kosovo-Metohija in the past 10 years that everyone else is somehow missing? Oh ok, so in 04 there were pogroms and organized violence against the Serbian community, and today the attacks are a lot more disorganized and random. Is this progress to you?

At this point, you're either extremely ignorant of the situation there, or you know you're lying. Very sad

Sorry Ari

I think the owners of the establishment below might disagree with you. I was in Gracanice just last weekend and the place was quite active.

All serbs in Kosovo are becoming like the south Kosovo serbs and loyal and patriotic citizens of the Republic of Kosovo.

Good God, you're such a derp. Do you charge money for your stupidity or is this all voluntary?

Simply untrue. South of the Ibar, where most Kosovo Serbs live, there is a lot of political engagement of Serbs in Kosovo politics.

Either you are very ignorant of the situation in Kosovo-Metohija, or you are lying on purpose. The Serbs south of the Ibar live in ethic ghettos and would risk their safety by straying too far away from these enclaves, much less owning a business. Most of the Serb private business owners reside in the North.

The Serbs in the south are more likely to receive paychecks from state institutions in Belgrade and are thus more likely to vote in those sham elections. And even the Serbs in the south voted well under 50%, despite massive pressure from international missions and their federal government in Belgrade.

All serbs in Kosovo are becoming like the south Kosovo serbs and loyal and patriotic citizens of the Republic of Kosovo. They reject all things Serbia and vote on Republic of Kosovo ballots and swear loyalty oaths to the republic of Kosovo like Goran Rakic who campaigned on signing the loyalty oath to the republic of Kosovo. Serbia with its ambassador to Kosovo dejan pavicevic and its border guards and customs agents on the Kosovo Serbia border are all about making Kosovo a sovereign independent nation.

Any Serb that has their own private business in Kosovo-Metohija had absolutely no interest in these charades.

Obviously the Serbian community could care less whether those Serbian candidates who took part in these elections actually end up joining the "government" or not. If they do, and something actually comes out of it to ensure the survival of Serbs in those ethnic ghettos south of the Ibar, then good.

But as I've said before, the only Serbs who voted, or took part in these elections were people that received paychecks from state institutions in Belgrade. Their jobs depended on it, so they listened to their government. Any Serb that has their own private business in Kosovo-Metohija had absolutely no interest in these charades.
