"This a shameful and dangerous game, and above all an illegal game that is unacceptable to the social values of our democratic state.

I don't even know where to begin here. This is laughable coming from a man who used shameful, dangerous and illegal means to snatch a part of Serbia away.

Still, it remains that only this alliance could keep Serbia from controlling it's territory.
(Ari Gold, 23 June 2014 12:32)

There's also the funny little thing about democratic process. If Serbia annexed Kosovo, they'd have 1.7 million new inhabitants hostile to it, at least politically.

How would that change the democratic topography of Serbia, where the ruling party typically gets around 1 million votes.

Unless you intend that Albanians not get the vote and Serbia become some sort of ethnic fascist state. In that case, I'd say there are more than a few roadblocks to this dream of yours, not the least of which being the fact that not too many Serbs would be too keen on their state becoming some sort of dictatorship again.

Not "afraid", just stating the obvious. There is nothing a small nation can do militarily if the strongest military alliance in the world wants a presence on your territory. Still, it remains that only this alliance could keep Serbia from controlling it's territory. Definitely no organ extracting terrorists in Pristina.
(Ari Gold, 23 June 2014 12:32)

First of all, it's not the alliance that wants a presence in the territory; it is Russia, China and the rest of the UNSC that want the alliance to have a presence in the territory.

Second, if by "strongest military alliance in the world" you mean NATO, that is an acceptable. Our dear CE of B92 forums sj has dedicated his/her life to tirelessly working in ground-breaking research for many years which has clearly and convincingly shown that NATO is all p... and wind. You are throwing all that research to the trash bin by writing that non-sense about "the strongest military alliance in the world".

Ari Gold,
You are delusional. So you went back a whole 17 years to support your claim that Albanians lose all their battles without foreign support. How do you explain then two Albanian states ( and one state forming entity in FYROM) still existent, in between historically hostile neighbors. Peoples that loose wars disappear, we are thriving. On the other hand Serbs have always had the support of Russians and French, thus for you to make this claim towards Albanians, it's disingenuous.
By the way, the war of our hero Adem Jashari culminated with a free Kosovo, and the Macedonian conflict with Ohri Agreement ( i.e. Albanians as a state forming entity).

Sadly, you don’t even know what number of unemployed exist in the US let alone somewhere else. In the US it is a fact that everyone working in the section that tallies the numbers on unemployment has to sign secrecy agreements and on one occasion where the head of that branch was asked if she could divulge the methodology of calculating the level of unemployment, she said that she was unable as its covered by the secrecy agreement. Who are they afraid of learning about the true level of unemployment? ISIL in Iraq?
If you think that Kosovo has 45% unemployed then you’re even easier to fool than I thought. The main source of work is government employment which is funded by Brussels.
Now that you have suffered at the hands of a brutal leadership I can get a guarantee that no Albanian will seek work in Serbia proper.
The next question is to ask, why does the west invest in Serbia and not their allies in Kosovo??? When you answer that properly things might come a little clearer.

I think the only requirement to criticize your postings is being potty trained, as that enables one to recognize what you shovel. It is also not important to me what you think about what jobs I have and have not had. But there was something that drew me to Kosovo, it was not vacation. As for social security, I am sure that means something different in different countries, here is the US it is the retirement pension once someone reaches that age. There is certainly no shame in drawing a pension as a result of years of hard work and payment into the system. But not there quite yet.
Now I do not know the actual unemployment figures for Kosovo, but between believing a number you post and one ANYONE else lists, I will side with their number as it has a better percentage chance of being accurate.
But my comment had nothing to do with numbers you quoted, it had to do with your personal slams of the Albanian people, when Serbs and Albanians of Kosovo are both the same except one had to suffer for years at the hands of a brutal leader who destroyed the infrastructure and education system throwing them back 25-30 years behind others.
The thing that amazes me that you may answer as a member of the "superior" people. If this were actually a reality, why are your people not that much better off? Of course this is where you play the inevitable victim card.

Well what part is wrong here? I’m only stating the facts, lad. As said before its only the very stupid that believe offcial figures of only 45% unemployment and falling or even better how Kosova has the fastest growing economy in the Balkans. But there is no appearance of industry anywhere.
Please note that I have two persistant critics, our resident Albanian Einstein and PSS, and I bet neither has ever held a government postion and the only contact with government is to collect social security. Why do I say that? Becasue only the down right ignaorant can talk of having less than 70% unemployment in a region like Kosovo.

How do you explain then two Albanian states ( and one state forming entity in FYROM) still existent, in between historically hostile neighbors. Peoples that loose wars disappear, we are thriving. Your side, "Count". Explain how aid will be cut over this considering this is hardly anything provocative and the only people complaining about it are Albanians obsessed with controlling a land and people who have proven (repeatedly) to want nothing to do with being controlled. The minute Kosovo Serbs from the north decide to cross the bridge and starting taking parts of Albanska Mitrovica block by block, then we can talk about provocations and the risk of EU funding being reduced. But you and I know that's not going to happen. More likely, Albanians need more time to come to grips with reality and accept where their authority and their legitimacy ends. Once that happens, peace will prevail. Until then, enjoy the flowers :)

The EU will not stop aid to Serbia? Not on 1.5 million Albanians lives living in Kosovo, especially since the new Lord and Master of Europe, Russia, is swimming around Serbia. That's so stupid. Um, well there is you know... the strongest military alliance there that is protecting your occupation. If they weren't there, the story would be different.

How do we know that? It's a rule of thumb, when Albanians do not have international backing to serve as their airforce, they lose military conflicts. When they fight anyone who's not elderly or a 14 year old girl, they lose.

Adem Jashiri's rebellion, Presevo in 2001, the conflict in Macedonia, the infamous retreat of ROSU terrorists from Mitrovica in 2010.... when NATO isn't there, you lose.

The point of my question is some of you must feel that there's no telling what Mr Thaci can be capable of.Finally and who knows if Mr Thaci is aware that some black folks especially some African-Americans are known to address each other as n***ers" but disapprove of non-blacks saying it therefore perhaps (just perhaps) Mr Thaci might be one of those Muslims who only approve of Muslims not non-Muslims of insulting Muslims in a demeaning way.
