Leaders of the seven most developed countries have warned Russia they are ready for new sanctions if there is no progress in resolving the Ukrainian crisis.

Thank for your intervention but it's been my policy not to reply to postings by any newly created ignorant joe and his personal insinuations.My exchange with Rote was about the reduced role of the US dollar in world trade which is supported by statistics and show how fast the Chinese Yuan is coming onto the world stage.If one throws in the recent trade and currency agreements signed by China not only with the BRIC countries but also with Germany,France,Italy,UK it won't be too long before the US dollar becomes irrelevant.

1/ Greeks don’t have to waste their time to advocate Russia when Russians are available. Think about it.
2/ Yes Leonidas must be overestimating the fall of dollar because he hates to pay this rent to keep up the bastards. But the US is very worried about this foundation of the western prosperity. Because they estimate the threats as real they started this Cold War-2 to last for decades and to involve the whole globe. Just think about it.
3/ Yes Europe will in no case die without the Russian gas. But it will soon lose an important basis of competitiveness. It may bring domino processes in social and political spheres to replace the elites. If G7 is composed on the economic might then there would be 4 BRICS (China , India, Russia , Brasil) countries and 1 European (Germany) + USA + Japan. When Putin came nobody could imagine this. Think about it.
4/ Gazprom earns USD 200 million per day or USD 6 Bln per month. But even these money compose only 15% of what Russia is earning on oil and gas. But there are many other items of exports. All available in the web. Say Russia exports as many arms as the USA. So our finance are good enough. At least we are the only state with profit budget on the continent. Think about it and compare it with the Albanian budget.

Putin is overstepping reasonable values by stirring up nationalist sentiment so that he can take over land that is not his. There is no reason to break up Ukraine and no reason for Russia to keep Crimea.

Putin is overstepping reasonable values by stirring up nationalist sentiment so that he can take over land that is not his. There is no reason to break up Ukraine and no reason for Russia to keep Crimea.

I would hazard a guess that you haven't got a clue how bad things are and how much worse it's going to get. It's going to blindside so many people, but they will be distracted by war and Russia can be scapegoated as the cause.Russia isn't going to suffer financially - for the simple reason that they have developed new markets for their gas in Asia with China being a big buyer.Ukraine is going to freeze this Winter and so are many EU countries -not to mention the 350 billion trade with Russia.Life is about to get very interesting.

1/ Greeks don’t have to waste their time to advocate Russia when Russians are available. Think about it.
2/ Yes Leonidas must be overestimating the fall of dollar because he hates to pay this rent to keep up the bastards. But the US is very worried about this foundation of the western prosperity. Because they estimate the threats as real they started this Cold War-2 to last for decades and to involve the whole globe. Just think about it.
3/ Yes Europe will in no case die without the Russian gas. But it will soon lose an important basis of competitiveness. It may bring domino processes in social and political spheres to replace the elites. If G7 is composed on the economic might then there would be 4 BRICS (China , India, Russia , Brasil) countries and 1 European (Germany) + USA + Japan. When Putin came nobody could imagine this. Think about it.
4/ Gazprom earns USD 200 million per day or USD 6 Bln per month. But even these money compose only 15% of what Russia is earning on oil and gas. But there are many other items of exports. All available in the web. Say Russia exports as many arms as the USA. So our finance are good enough. At least we are the only state with profit budget on the continent. Think about it and compare it with the Albanian budget.

Thank for your intervention but it's been my policy not to reply to postings by any newly created ignorant joe and his personal insinuations.My exchange with Rote was about the reduced role of the US dollar in world trade which is supported by statistics and show how fast the Chinese Yuan is coming onto the world stage.If one throws in the recent trade and currency agreements signed by China not only with the BRIC countries but also with Germany,France,Italy,UK it won't be too long before the US dollar becomes irrelevant.
