President Putin is correct regarding the aggressive action of the USA. What legal right, or what right does President Obama have to place sanctions on Russia. Does President Obama really have, has he been given the power to enforce sanctions on Russia! This is hard to fathom. America runs around the globe forcing their beliefs upon everyone. They don't ask, they force. Is this democracy! What is going on, that so many countries are so obedient to an American ideology and without question! They the USA go into former Yugoslavia, bomb Serbia to bits to get their way and now they have it. They create revolutions in countries to get there way. Now they are controlling Ukraine! Then they, USA under President Obama enforce sanctions on Russia. As if Russia needs to sit in its corner and wait! Any normal person would accept what President Putin is very cleverly and with great patience working through in this bizarre situation. Congratulations for persevering Mr. Putin.

It's safe to say that Putin has a far better grasp of the realities of these matters than a mere media scribbler like Obama (the hero of Gtnmo) yet Obama has the temerity to make up this fantasy nonsense about Putin supposedly having dreams beyond his grasp.There's not the slightest reason to suppose Putin has any such illusions about his situation. Sanctions imposed by Obama are for dealings with US companies and banks and for travel to the US, which is not only legal for him to impose but part of his mandate. Each country of the world has the same right to follow suit with the same or similar sanctions against Russia or any country they choose.
But then why the fuss, as you read from others on this site the US is powerless and means absolutely nothing on the global scene now?
