Last year both north Kosovo Serbs and south Kosovo Serbs voted on ballots with the logo of the republic of Kosovo central election Comission on them so Its clear there is no division. Serbs in Kosovo strongly believe in the sovereign independent republic of kosovo.

Actually, the overwhelming majority of Serbs in Kosovo i Metohija did not vote in those elections. The irony is of course that the majority of Serbs who did vote, did because they are employed by and subsequently pressured by the government to vote....the government of Serbia. Yes, the Serbs in the south live in ethnic ghettos, so it's a little understandable that they listen to the government's directions. But in the north, only the people who are directly tied to Belgrade state institutions voted.

What does that mean? This territory is obviously not a real country, but nor is it functioning as a part of Serbia. More than autonomy, less than independence.
