As for the performance of the Serbian Army during the natural disaster, Gašić said that despite the "sell off" of large amounts of resources in 2006 and 2007, the troops responded "readily to all challenges." Intresting the Serb crooks sold companys next to nothing or just stole the money out of them now it continues in to the armed forces. I was wondering why Serbia had shortage of helicopters when it stole well over a 100 + from the other Ex Yugo Republics. Same with the fire bombers it stole from Yugo and then fenced them on to Greece. Now it realise on Russia to provide fire fighting aircraft if Russia can spare one or two. Even little Montenegro has its own dedicated to fire fighting aircraft that it purchased new. Now Serbia is going to purchace some old Mig 23 that have been sitting on the tarmac for years in Russia rusting. That were originaly Syrian and Serbia has to pay 1.3 billion for them. From a lone frome Russia some one in Serbia will probably get a good kick back. Will Serbia ever be a normal country? Highly unlikely!
