Why playing down? Only telling what it was: An Albanian burglar/thief wanted to steal foreign property, and killed the legal owner who unfortunately appeared and confronted him. So it's clear that the murder was not ethnically motivated, but pure criminality.

Yes I do. The U.S. helped rebuild Germany, like it did Japan and also gave it access to U.S. markets, which was very, vary key. Plus Germany's population was large (even just the western part at that time.)

The U.S., after just a short time of oppression, decided to build up, rather than punish Germany and Japan because they wanted to strengthen Germany against the U.S.S.R. and were determined to show the west was better than the eastern controlled part. So there was agenda to build it up and allow it to get strong (at least economically) on the U.S.'s part.

With Japan, President Truman worried over China, so the U.S. did not want a weak Japan.

But the U.S. and Europe do want WEAK Balkans statelets - they are easier to exploit and won't have resistance to EU/NATO/U.S. dictates.
Plus they destroyed Yugoslavia which was a strong competitor against Germany and other western nations in the defense and construction industries.

That what I just outlined is the main truth and if you didn't or still don't see it then you will not understand the overarching politics and games the west has been doing.

No, you don't but you do get that where Albanians are a majority living close to Serbs or Macedonians. Not so much in Macedonia yet, but don't tell me it's not coming. Have you been living under a rock lately because Albanians have announced that parts of Macedonia belong to them.

Know what the difference is? The Germans were completely defeated, and they had to admit their guilt, the responsible persons were punished, the new generation is taught about the horrible crimes committed by their ancestors. On the Balkans, on the other hand, the people responsible for wars and war crimes are either considered heroes and defenders (in Serbia, Bosnia, Croatia) or are even play a role in politics nowadays (in Kosovo). Secondly, in Germany, the NAZI-successors, i.e. right wing extremist parties, are marginalized and eliminated, while in the Balkans, the national extremism and right-wing parties are present and more alive than ever.

NO, not SJ and me. I and many others have named them many times here so there is no need to repeat ourselves.
My children have studied and they have researched this and other topics for a long time and used many sources. They know exactly what is going on and what went on. They don't need you or me for that matter to teach them this topic. Maybe you should encourage your kids to do their own research instead of what you "teach' at the dinner table.
I can tell you that is exactly what is happening in my home. My children, who are adults now have invested a lot of time reading books and articles on the web and yes from non Serbian sources.
