Vučić sends condolences to Turkish PM

Serbian Prime Minister Aleksandar Vučić has sent a telegram of condolences to his Turkish counterpart Recep Tayyip Erdogan over the tragedy at a coal mine.

Sure, Mullah Erdogan will do that. In his very own empathic way, wording could be 'It's Allah's will, and in England, in the 19th century, 200 miners were killed, too. And in Serbia, there are much more people in trouble in the flooded regions. And all the miners were terrorists or left extremists and don't deserve it better.

Don't send condolences to Erdogan. He doesn't care. As far as he's concerned this is routine in the life of a miner. Of a 19th century miner, but let's not quibble over technicalities.

Its a terrible tragedy. I know nothing about mine regulations in Turkey, so I can only speculate, I have read though that privatisations of the mining complex has led to a lax attitude to safety and as such has increased the risk of tragedies such as this occurring. If this allegations are true, then surely there are grounds for manslaughter charges
