"Croatian PM says Ukraine is "falling apart""

Indeed, a good reminder for the other Russia's Slavic "brothers" that the big "brother" might one day dismember them :)

This sounds like a man who is sweating underneath his three piece suit. And the Albanians in Kosovo are also sweating. They just hijacked a load of medical supplies heading south. Why? Medical supplies can be confused with military supplies.

No doubt the Croatians and Albanians in Kosovo compare themselves with the thugs currently running Kiev. And Kiev looks nervous too.

EU borders and NATO borders. If that wasn't obvious enough.

Anyone who says that the general economic wellbeing of the Russian people has not improved since Putin took over is simply ignorant and lazyily parroting propaganda. There are statistics everywhere (not to mention the mass of Russian tourists that are impossible to avoid anywhere in the world) from non Russian sources such as the IMF, WB etc. which flatly contradicts this ignorant view.

Russia is Europe's biggest growth marked in cars and many other consumer goods and foodstuffs, that is why current sanctions by the EU are so weak. They'd be committing economic suicide. Profits are already being hit hard by the current miserable sanctions and the slowdown of Russia's economy which is mostly a delayed reaction to the EU's disastrous economic performance. But don't worry, Putin's off to China soon to sign some mega deals.

But yes, Russians must have a lot of frustrations, since for the people things didn't improve (except for the oligarchs and billionaires who are good friends of Putin - the oligarchs who are not so good friends emigrated or were sent to prison for 'corruption')
(Comm. Parrisson, 14 May 2014 16:48)

Actually... Comm. Parrisson, I was Putin who put many Oligarchs BEHIND bars for stealing from the state. That was precisely how he restored Russia's power and improved the lives of ALL Russians, ESPECIALLY those who were suffering the most. Are you suggesting that Russia TODAY was worse off then under Yeltsin? Your comments are here on B92 are a useless waste of time.

(Gotsefromohrid, 14 May 2014 16:22) So true or even better for Zoran a communist. That communisem comes back so they can be criminal communist despot dictators dufeses for life. We all could vote for them with allways 101% support or else while they rob us of everything. Their is a article here that only 30% of Serbs support democracy. Then again Serbs were the best communist in Ex Yugo. They filled them selfs as hihg as 70% in the corupt communist beaucracy. When they were only 30% of the Yugoslavia population go figure.

"Something that functioned as an empire in the minds of the people disintegrated, regardless of the fact it was communist, borders were pushed dramatically toward the east, more so than ever in 350 years... and it is to be expected that Russians have many frustrations. That should be considered as well."

"borders were pushed dramatically toward the east" ? Sorry, which borders? The only thing that changed is that the artificially created Soviet Union fell apart, with the former Soviet Republics becoming own countries, and these Republic borders became state borders. No border was pushed anywhere.

Btw., the same goes for ex-YU, falling apart into the constitutional republics of the FRY (except for Kosovo, which has never been a Republic within YU).

But yes, Russians must have a lot of frustrations, since for the people things didn't improve (except for the oligarchs and billionaires who are good friends of Putin - the oligarchs who are not so good friends emigrated or were sent to prison for 'corruption')
