I would like to clear up what seems to be a misunderstanding. Granting asylum to Albanians and not to Serbs, if this is indeed happening, is a recognition by the German Government of the different conditions under which these respective people live. To be declared a 'safe country' is a good thing not a bad one but the result is that fewer of that country's nationals asylum requests will be granted. It is not favouritism towards Albanians; if anything the opposite applies and the Governments in Kosovo and Albanian would have more reason to be the ones feeling hard done by.

"This does not apply to the Serbian province of Kosovo & Mitochia of course. Asylum seekers from there are still eligible for consideration under the old rules. "

Indeed. Which is absurd, in a way: Germany as one of the biggest sponsors and supporter of the great 'independent, multi ethnic, democratic Kosovo' experiment, herewith indirectly confirms that Kosovo is not a safe country for certain people, in spite of all the cheering and bulls**t talk what a great 'success' Kosovo is.
Conclusion:: Kosovo is a country where some people cannot feel safe, are discriminated, threatened or harassed for political, ethnical or religious reasons (which are the reasons for granting asylum)

Unfortuantely, the German Government is very selective with regard to whom it grants asylum - Serbs are apparently not as ethnically "pure" as Albanians, so they are disadvantaged and Albanians are welcomed with open arms...
The German way of exerting influence...
