Members of Serbia's outgoing government and MPs on Thursday bid farewell to Deputy PM and Minister of Labor Jovan Krkobabić, who passed away earlier this week.

Notwithstanding Mr. Krkobabic's role in Serbian politics over the past 20+ years, I cannot help mentioned that Mirko Djordjevic - an intellectual giant and tireless fighter for democracy in Serbia during the same period - passed away at the same time. The Government and intellectual "mainstream" did not say a word about that loss.
