Yes, and in a few decades (about 2050), even Kosovo will become a democratic state with genuine politicians, where ordinary people can enjoy a decent life (and not only the mafia bosses a.k.a. politicians and their corrupt family and clan members), get rid of the corruption and mafia clans which are contaminating the society and become a state with European standards (instead of African ones, like nowadays)

Wow that is not bad so you are saying it will take Kosovo half as long (50 years) to accomplish what it took Serbia to accomplish (100 years).

"In my opinion, she is very near to accomplishing this enormous task of giving Serbia a democratic makeover, one that Serbia was in dire need of! And, I am sure a majority of peace loving Serbs would agree!!! Serbia, will fall in line with the universal democratic norms, Maybe a few more years at most!"

You are a patronising irritation comrade Rocky with scant knowledge of who runs this planet. Forget democracy my deluded friend it doesn't exist, and accept your fate as these "bosses" map out your future. My hope is that Serbia will reject this charade and not join you in the cow-towing to this unelected mafia.

Cathy Ashton... What a great example of an apportunistic British technocrat, promoting anglo-saxon interests in less developed and less fortunate part of the vast germanic sphere of influence under a romantic disguise of democracy...
Many a times in its modern history, Serbia was coerced into unjust peace, unreasonable terms and inequitable arrangements... Serbia always prevailed and more often then not, Serbia's actions percipitated collapse and dissolution of what were considered most powerfull of empires of the time... Serbia might be on its knees but rest assured, Serbia will prevail!

Rocky not untill Serbia jumps thru many more hoops. Then pays compesation for its criminal ways. The path to the EU goes trouhg Croatia and Serbia has much to unsawer for. Before the incourigible Serbia/Serbs gets anywhere.

I'm sure the majority of Serbs have great admiration for mrs Cathrin Aston, as she has invested so much of her time trying to bring Serbia closer to reality, the reality that only democratic reforms & changes are the Serbian people's only rout in moving forward & eventually becoming a EU member, that is truly a democracy! She has did an excellent job, in getting Serbia's hardliners to the same table with Kosova prime minister Thaci, which was a milestone in itself, let alone the positive image it gave the republic of Kosova on the world stage, as a newly established democratic country! She, is a true believer in Serbia being able to part with the old barbaric & primitive policies of the past, she is truly focused on bringing Serbia out of the abyss & helping her modernize into a democratic society within Europe's borders! In my opinion, she is very near to accomplishing this enormous task of giving Serbia a democratic makeover, one that Serbia was in dire need of! And, I am sure a majority of peace loving Serbs would agree!!! Serbia, will fall in line with the universal democratic norms, Maybe a few more years at most!
