"The only people who don't consider it a defensive weapon are either pacisficsts or people who would like Serbia to be defenseless. An unsecure and unstable state is not in the interest of Serbia, the Balkans or even Europe. Defensless states are drawn into war, they are torn apart by aggresive countries, they spread instability and they destroy regional economies."

I completely agree, however a defenseless state is not drawn into war, rather, the war goes to it. But it is true that they are torn apart by aggressive countries (see Ukraine and Russia), spread instability and destroy regional economies. Such lucidity of judgement, that is why I do not understand why Vulin and Co. complain about the creation of Kosovo's Army. With a strong and defendable Kosovo, aggressive countries like Serbia will think a bit more about the cost of aggression, the region will be more stable, and the regional economies won't be destroyed :).

Anti Aircraft is a defensive weapon. The fact that it is possible to be used to knock out an aircraft outside of the zone of defense is not a credible arguement. Who would Serbia attack with expensive Anti Aircraft missles?

As far as expense, what did the last bombardment cost Serbia? It is true that Serbia cannot easily afford these defences, but it also cannot easily afford to be without them.

If they cannot afford these specific weapons, or these specific weapons are insufficent for future need, than Serbia should work on development of its own defensive systems.

You cannot have stability without security, and this equipment is completely defensive and cannot be used offensively.

Any military equipment other than a radar system can be used offensively and those can support offense systems.
As far as the no matter the cost, you must live outside Serbia so as to not be affected by the "no matter the cost" statement.

It is much better that the Russian Air force visits us than if the Nato Air Forces come to visit. With the proper training and equipment, Serbia could have much more piece of mind. This equipment should be purchased in large numbers regardless of expense. You cannot have stability without security, and this equipment is completely defensive and cannot be used offensively.

@Rocky
Yeah Russia!, you better watch out, poking your nose in the Balkans will leave Albania with no other alternative but to sell more of it's useless redundant rusty military equipment for some desperately needed funds, they may even sell some of their concrete bunkers if Russia doesn't be careful, LOL!!!
I'm sure Putin is trembling in his boots, would have been laugh if it wasn't so cringe worthy Rocky, but then again it did come from you, so all I can do is laugh at your pathetic mind

Don't forget 1961 old friend, you want to embarrass yourself yet again? We are the same old crowd from 50 years ago, we haven't changed much!!!
