Not different to Croatia, Hungary. Though I think this part in Serbia is smaller when you look at the political parties and their 'success'.

Wrong.

Hungary had a few 100 violent protestors during one of their gay parades. they have one every year now

Zagreb has had a successful gay parade for over 7 years in a row now, with only a few hundred that show up to protest

Belgrade has has one gay parade where 6000 police were needed to defend against 5000 thugs who came to kill. Since then, each year, the state has capitulated to the thugs and cancelled such manifestations (500 people walking around 1 block) due to fear of violent savages coming out of the woodwork.

it is simply not true that any place in Europe is anything that comes close to Serbia when it comes to violent extremists reacting to people they don't like.

I say all this in response to the utterly laughable assertion that Serbia is "the most liberal" country in Europe. Where do people even come up with these sort of fantasies?

Here's a video of 1000s of people from "the most liberal societies in Europe" rampaging through their capital city shouting "kill the fag" in response to 500 people walking around 1 block.

I wouldn't speak about the whole society. But of course there's a rotten part of extremists and nationalists. Not different to Croatia, Hungary. Though I think this part in Serbia is smaller when you look at the political parties and their 'success'.

It's important that freedom of speech is monitored. The people of Serbia are still manipulated by most of the media, and they're still not ready to talk about the crimes of Serbs in the recent past. B92 and very free others are the only open minded media. Let's hope that real freedom of speech and of mind comes more quickly to this nation.

@Houdini

Many Serbian nationalists have been arrested and thrown in prison for the 'crime' of speech, for simply expressing their opinion, which in Serbia has become illegal.

Liberal socities are intolerant of dissent (they have to be as the vast majority of normals in any societies will always reject their destructive ideology) so they prevent free speech (just look at the cultural Marxist EU), and there is nothing even close to the First Amendment which the USA has in the country so the situation is very bad. What Serbia really needs is libertarianism not liberalism. The Serbian government needs to get the hell out of Serbian people's lives and leave them alone but of course we know that this will never happen.

I don't think so, have you been to Serbia Jimmy?? If so I can't imagine where. It's actually one of the most liberal societies in Europe. I'm not talking about the politicians but the people themselves. They are wonderful inside and beautiful outside. I wish I lived there away from these miserable individuals who surround me in the EU.
