Czech President Miloš Zeman has said that creating the armed forces of Kosovo would only mean that the KLA, responsible for terrorist actions, has been rearmed.

I think you should get used to the fact that sooner or later, Kosovo will become an Observer State of the UN meaning that the UN will recognise Kosovo's sovereignty and there is nothing Russia can do to stop this. So much for the Russian veto!
(Ian, UK, 4 April 2014 15:14)

That is simply not true. The Albanians can only get that if the Serbian government allows them to. The rule of thumb is, the pseudo institutions in Pristina financed by Western tax payer and heroin trafficking get only as far as the Serbian government allows them to for the sake of Serbia supposed EU membership that will never happen in a trillion years.

Now with Crimea, you have the hypocrisy of Western policy on the Balkans come to light. Countries understand that. You think the world right now has an appetite to unilaterally bring the Albanians in Pristina into the UN?

And even if this observer status were to happen, that's not the UN recognizing anything. If the ceiling for this Western project is a status of Palestine, I will take it for now.

Troll attempt failed.

All Serbs should move to Moldova. It's a step closer to Russia. I don't even know why there stationed in Soutgern Europe when they are the most hated race in the region.
(Golden wig, 5 April 2014 09:09)

Seeing as the "region" consists of neighbours who historically side with whichever empire seeks to establish itself in the Balkans, most notably Nazi Germany, I would take that hate with pride and honor.

Nikolle and Mirel - I can't help but notice that whenever serbs post something that is particularly egregious (and there are plenty of examples), you are always so quick to respond. But when an Albanian posts something equally or even more appalling, you remain silent.

Why is that?

Your silence suggests that you may tacitly support the ugly comments made by your Albanian brother Bam Bam.

Hmm, I think the only doubt that Kosovars have is how comes that 106 countries consider Kosovo a country ignoring the Russian veto?!!! How can they commit such a heresy and not obey Russia in deciding what to consider a country or not?! What's Russia doing to force those 106 countries to reverse their decisions and obey Russia's veto... Oh pardon, Russia is busy in attacking countries which actually don't consider Kosovo a country.

Last time I checked the Serb army killed and terrorized civilians and even went to great lengths to hijack the bodies and burry them in Serbia proper; even having buildings on top mass graves. It ethnically cleansed 1 million people. To add to that, one of the Balkans biggest drug dealers had ties with the Serbian highest level politicians. Additionally, more than half of the world does not recognize Serbia's claims of sovereignty. To put it lightly, Serbia is a strange state. If Serbia is allowed to have an army despite all of its war criminals and terrorists wearing military uniforms then anyone can.

That's the funniest thing I have read from Albanians so far.
Dignity? For Serbs?
How dignifid is it to live behind wire being protected to NATO?
How about a bus carrying Serbs to their places of worship being stoned? Is that dignity? How about Serb elderly being attacked in their own home and killed and nobody even investigating like having cattle killed? Is that dignity?
Spare me the attempt at humour.

(Nikolle, 3 April 2014 22:47)

Not really Nikolle, I left it ambiguous to see what kind of response I would get. It could be interpreted as Albanians living in one state, being Albania. Therefore the interpretation was done through fear. It could mean Albanians living in Greater Albania, meaning the interpretation was done through confidence. Or it could mean Albanians uniting in another state altogether, such as Turkey. You see, lots of possibilities.

I know you are not insulted, it's just me poking a few nerves, trying to get that knee to kick to make some interesting conversation. At the end of the day, we are all very similar. You know, we are just defending our version of history.

So, it appears Albanians are being smarter and getting the practical results and leaving the machoism to the Serbs... :)

Don't get me wrong; there is nothing wrong with that since it's a matter of personal preference. Albanians prefer the practical results; Serbs prefer the spiritual ones.

@ Zoran:

You have to admit that from the looks of things that when it comes to school shootings that it's more common place here in the U.S. than it is in Kosovo so from my perspective it appears that there are more American school kids who have a propensity for violence than their Albanian counterparts but don't get me wrong because I'm not saying nor implying that all U.S. school kids are like that,in fact, school shootings never occurred or at least are a rarity right here in the state of Minnesota.

Now with references to the Kosovo army in this article I like to add by saying which I already stated in an early March b92 article is that when it comes to ethnic Albanians struggling in Kosovo ( specifically I'm referring to their struggles against Serb forces) and now for the Kosovo Army that they still remind of that song The Touch by Stan Bush.

Today in an independent Kosova we have fine highways. And we even have roads in most rural villages. There is no village without an fine road leading to it.

So Zoran we Albanians gave more to Yugoslavia than what it gave back. We dont want it back and we are satisfied with what we got now. Its not ideal but we can only make it better. This state wilfully encouraged ethnic cleansing and genocide in Kosova against its native Albanian population through forced colonisation, migration, killings, rape, torture etc etc up until 1999. So if you’re calling the KLA a terrorist organisation for attempting to liberate the country from of its Serbian-terrorist yoke, then I frankly think you ought not to be taken seriously anyone.

Now with Crimea, you have the hypocrisy of Western policy on the Balkans come to light. Countries understand that. You think the world right now has an appetite to unilaterally bring the Albanians in Pristina into the UN?

Mr Zaman we, the people of Kosova, had the unfortunate destiny to deal with a terrorist-sponsored state and an aggressive occupying force since the end of World War One!
I certainly would’ve expected a fresher approach from someone who comes from a country which has first-hand experience of what it’s like to live next to a manic, nationalist-crazed and violent neighbour. Think of the Sudetenlands Mr Zaman! Were Czech attempts to liberate that region against the Nazi occupation terrorist actions too? The hypocrisy has no end!
Also you’re reference to Kosova being a narco-mafia state is offensive and degrading to all those who gave their lives for liberating their country against the Serbian hooligans and chetniks sent by Belgrade to plunder and murder!
In fact before you make those allegations think of your own country, your corrupt and mafia-controlled civil service, your despicable treatment of the Roma community and your drug-infested parliament!

Losses? We were on the winning side in 2 World wars while you sided with the fasists and lost both along with your fellow nazis the croats. And yet you of any talk about losses.
(Daniel, 3 April 2014 23:42)

That was 70 years ago :) But anyway, if you are saying that Serbs have been winning, then please have a talk with the most patriotic of Serbs in these forums, because we only see complains. Not sure why people whine all time about such great victories.

I think the Kosalbanians are damned right ! We need to revive both the Serbian spirit and the Army. I guess we can already afford it. Russia desperately needs a plot on the Balkans. And Serbia is the best place. Look what happens when you do not support your own army. Ukraine is the best sample. With a Russian base Serbia will be more respected. Yes in the west they will first bark and shout but some day they will accept the status quo.

"Considering that the KLA carried out a whole series of terrorist actions during the war in Yugoslavia, I would be apprehensive of an independent Kosovo army that would be nothing but an armed KLA,"...

They certainly did, and the CIA had them on their list of terrorist organizations. Then they conveniently removed them, when mad cow Albright and her gang of war criminals decided to bomb Serbia, and thought it would be embarrassing to be the air force of KLA terrorists - which is exactly what NATO became. They became the organ snatchers air force and are a psychopathic organization of murderers (Wesley Clark) and liars (Jamie Shea). Once the Czech Republic gets a proper leader, they will rescind recognition of this fake, illegal, and immoral 'state' and give the fourth reich EU masters the finger.
I am happy to see opposition growing to establishment EU unelected windbags, as Nigel Farage's popularity is growing by leaps and bounds in the UK.

Cheers!!

The Serbs in Kosova are finished. With barely 3% of the total population, extinction is 10-20 years away. All the Serbs can do now is except the mighty black eagle as their national symbol or pack up your s*it and move to Belgrade. Those that dare to ignore our values and traditions will feel pain like they have never felt before. With support from our beloved brothers in ZG & SA I'm sure the end is near for those that tried to drive us from our homelands.

The Russian veto permanently blocks you from ever being a country, you albanians better get used to that :). Kosovo never was yours, is not yours today, and never will be yours. It is sovereign Serbian soil, and you better get used to the fact that Kosovo is Serbia.

I think you should get used to the fact that sooner or later, Kosovo will become an Observer State of the UN meaning that the UN will recognise Kosovo's sovereignty and there is nothing Russia can do to stop this. So much for the Russian veto!

That is wrong and, above all, it is an heresy since it goes against the teachings of the CE of B92 forums sj who has decreed long ago that NATO is all p... and wind. And the CE of B92 forums sj is always, always, right.

He's right. Part of UNMIK/KFOR tasks was to disarm Albanian groups. And a 'Kosovo army' would be nothing but that.

And calling Kosovo "A state with a strong influence of narco-mafias" is really mildly put, in reality, the narco-mafias and the government consists of the same persons.

It is no wonder you are not liked by any of your neighbours and the only reason you got as far as you did is because your people supported the world's most advanced killing machine and destructive force (i.e. NATO). Same as in WWII (i.e. NAZIs). We Serbs have always stood up to fascism and always will.
(Zoran, 3 April 2014 14:13)

Not sure what you mean by "fascism"... but regardless, whatever the Serbs are doing is not working, as Serbia just continues to loose in the last 600 years (despite loses being celebrated as victories). So, it appears Albanians are being smarter and getting the practical results and leaving the machoism to the Serbs... :)

Don't get me wrong; there is nothing wrong with that since it's a matter of personal preference. Albanians prefer the practical results; Serbs prefer the spiritual ones.

You don't need nostalgia to benefit from something but regardless, why do you think I'm making threats? I am in no position to make them nor do I have the power to see them through. Just like most people, we are observers and we can see changes and cycles repeating. It's fairly simple.

Nikolle and Mirel - I can't help but notice that whenever serbs post something that is particularly egregious (and there are plenty of examples), you are always so quick to respond. But when an Albanian posts something equally or even more appalling, you remain silent.

Your silence suggests that you may tacitly support the ugly comments made by your Albanian brother Bam Bam.
