Serbia agreed to a deal in which all courts have one Main court decided by one set of laws and the courts and the laws are controlled by albanians. It doesn't matter at all in any way who involved in the system at a lower level is a Serb because eventually ale eveything is decided by Albanians in pristina. Serbs must abide by laws passed by albanaians and report to Albanian bosses. That's the Brussels agreement.

Even in Germany you can be arrested for wearing a T-shirt with hate insignia. i would agree that there is still work to be done in justice system of Kosovo but true for Serbia as well who has been a country much longer. I was reading in B92 Serbian version and saw interesting comment from a Kosovo Serb from N. Mitrovica asking any law to be applied there as only Gangs are enjoying this status there.

As fot people gloating in this site it comes from both sides its amazing how people have 2 sides of story so different in case of Balkans.

This Brian fellow is remarkably devoid of any balance in his comments frequently irritating and provocative. Gloating from paragraph to paragraph about the wonders of Albanian hegemony. Instead of just fermenting more animosity you might like to take a more productive form of discourse with those who will like it or not be your neighbours.

Sure, it does matter. Don't confuse Kosovo with a normal, democratic state where laws are applied like it should be, i.e. with Justitia being balanced, fair and 'blind' and judging without prejudice and knowing who the accused person is. No, in Kosovo, police can arrest you for wearing T-shirts with Cyrillic letters, and you can get away when you throw stones at buses and vehicles with persons in it. Same goes for judges, because Kosovo's 'laws' are clan loyalty and omerta, and people working for the state ofter belong to mafia groups, or they fear revenge of the mighty mafia clan bosses (who are protected and pet by the government) in case they should dare to start proceedings against some of their members.

Tamily you couldn't be more wrong. The talks for the Albanians are very easy because they are getting everything they want and more. When Serbia removed Kosovo from its consitution it will all be complete. The asm is just a NGO - it means nothing. The court system- all Albanian law passed in pristina. The police? All controlled by pristina.

The talks in Brussels certainly will not be easy for either side in the negotiations. It discusses will be about very important issues that need to be resolved so that the community of Serbian municipalities could function. We should not ignore the fact that there will be pressure from the EU to delegation in Serbia in terms of Ukraine and Crimea.

It doesn't matter if there is serb in charge of one court or not. All the laws are Pristina's laws and all the appeals courts are Pristina's! There is one law and that is Pristina and one main appeals court and that is Pristina. Albanians control the law and control the main appeals court. There is not "because its a serb it's Serbia's law or the serb is Serbia" It's all Republic of Kosovo Albanian law and there is no Serb power other than to be the face of Albanian Republic of Kosovo law! Serbia with over 60% of the people say Kosovo is an independent nation. There is no opponents to either EU membership or Kosovo independence in the entire parliament! Just recognize Kosovo independence completely already? I don't understand what is going on. All of Serbia and all of Serbia's agreements indicate a strident recognition of Kosovo independence so just announce it already? What is the problem! Just remove it from the constitution already!
