Well, it's an expression, like when someone says "We've been married forever" (they don't actually mean forever but just for a long time), so no need to get a heart attack. In the case of serbs, they have been in Kosovo for a very long time, well over 1,000 years.

Cheers

Not so sure about that. Serbs seem to have a hard on for "eternity", religion and myths in general. Like that other myth Serbs still believe in: A Serbian prince choosing eternal kingdom over the earth bound one. Or the other dimwits here claiming Serbia invented Kosova; or even the better one that prior to Serbs making it in the Balkans, Kosova was simply an empty piece of barren land. Never mind that great empires such as the Roman, Macedonian, Greek empires called this area their own backyard. Never mind that all sorts of people lived there for thousands of years under the rules of these empires. But Serbs show up, this land is magically empty and they invent Kosova.

Never underestimate the propensity of a Serb to create a $hitty myth, then to start believing his/ her own crap. So when you hear words that are so nuanced in mythology, such as eternal, you know that a Serb is creating a BS myth on the spot and has already started to believe it. Sounds like that other BS about being their Jerusalem. This is is some Magical Realism that rivals Gabriel Garcia Marquez.

Really....? Eternally!!! You guys are so full of . What's worse is that you even believe the stupid myths you yourselves create. How the f... can anyone have normal discourse with someone that thinks this way. Humans haven't been in this earth eternally. What a dimwit.

"We do not want some quasi Albanian state to take hold here, favored by the world powers who bombed us. If we are united - and now is the right time, we will succeed in our struggle. There cannot be any other state here except the one that has eternally been here, is now, and will be in the future, and that is Serbia," said Jablanović.
