Nice propaganda Anna.. Trying to compare Serbia’s drug problem to the US, yah okay there..People that are on drugs in Serbia are because of your country bombing the hell out of Serbia and causing PTS, something that you know nothing about.. Go to any main city in the states and see how it really is. I would know I have travelled to every major city. Saric may have been a drug distributor but at least he invested in the Serbian economy, there are thousands of individuals across Europe who are like Mr Saric. As far as the Serbian government, they are no different than any other government and if we are comparing the USA gov to the Serbian Gov on who has screwed over its people worse, this discussion ends here.
Lastly, USA has the biggest drug and gang problem in the world, your country makes money of having people in jails. People are poor and poverty is everything.

"Mr.Kirby, worry about your country drug problem and street thugs."

Do you not realize the irony of your comment? The article was about arresting a Serbian drug lord -- one of the top criminals in the world -- who washed millions of dirty euros in the Balkans! The U.S. Drug Enforcement Agency and the CIA were instrumental in finding Saric - I would think that Serbia should be grateful for the help. Perhaps now you can find out which government officials stole from the Serbian people through corrupt privatizations and hid a fortune outside of the country.

For some reason, many Serbian citizens who have never visited the U.S. think that there are gangs and drug dealers on every corner. That is not the case. In fact, the incidence of drug abuse in Serbia is equal to that in the U.S. Substance addiction crosses all levels of society in every country, and it is a universal tragedy.

Only when the case is investigated to the roots, and when the finally a light will be shed on the connections between high-ranking Serbian politicians and drug mafia and hooligan groups.
