Joachim, you are absolutely right. We can either be lackies of great powers and get mixed up in further conflict and war, or we can keep our heads down and build our country up independently, but co-operatively with all friendly nations.

All we know is that Montenegro,Albania,Norway and Island have join EU to put sancions against Russia.
I am pretty sure that russian who have invested in Albanian beaches are not going to be happy about that.

Meanwhile russian ambassador in Tirana expressed the dissapointment of Tirana's move but said that Putin didn't mention Kosovo to make the case for Krimea!!!

Is time for Serbia to show is East or West.
I know they are East with their muxhik mentality, but they have to show that they are serious joining the EU and not a Trojan horse who will work for Moskow.

The essence of these meetings was blackmail to Serbia, by the EU. EU want support of Serbia about the EU's position on the crisis in Ukraine. On the other hand, Russia has its own view of the crisis in Ukraine and its position on the Crimea. If we know that some countries in our neighborhood imposed sanctions on Russia, it is certain that pressures to Serbia will increase.
