but Serbia has UNSCR 1244 for its Territorial Integrity, even when Serbia's Constitution was changed.

(Yet Another J S, 20 March 2014 13:15)
So very true and it is great to hear a Serb to highlight in their post that since 1999, the UNSC has determined that Serbia's territorial integrity may or may not include the land of Kosovo as shown below.

The 20 % of the Voters of Crimea who did not Vote, wanted the status quo, but it was not feasible for Crimea.

They knew that Ukraine needed to be an Independent Country or to join Russia, and they decided not to Vote, in order for the Ethnic Ukrainians in Crimea to show solitary with the other Ukrainians, but at the same time to allow sanity and common sense to prevail.

The Constitution of Every Country states that the Government of that Country has to Defend the Constitution from All Enemies, both Foreign and Domestic.

This Requires Patriots in the Government and the Opposition, rather than Traitors in the Government or the Opposition.

A Country’s Territorial Integrity is Defined by its Constitution, and if the Constitution does not exist, then neither does that Country have any Territorial Integrity, and this is how it is now with Ukraine, until all sides agree on a New Constitution for Ukraine, but Serbia has UNSCR 1244 for its Territorial Integrity, even when Serbia's Constitution was changed.

Crimea Voted for their Constitutional Democracy, and the Video Titled: Terrorist Activities of 'Peaceful Demonstrators' explains why at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E18jWXbZY8U , and the Video is Titled: Breaking Estonian Foreign Minister Urmas Paet and Catherine Ashton at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kkC4Z67QuC0 .

Dodik is even more funny than Putin - the latter at least admitted that Kosovo was the blueprint for annexing the Crimea, because with an independent Kosovo, the west violated the long-existing principle of territorial integrity and sovereignty of states.

Putin knows that his actions violated the UN charter, that the referendum was not in line with Ukraine constitution and ignores the bilateral treaty between Ukraine and Russia, just like Kosovo independence violated the Serbian/YU constitution because it was not a republic within YU, but only a province.

Maybe Mr. Dodik would be satisfied if people in Kosovo would hold a referendum on joining Albania instead? I'm sure, there would be a similar outcome to the Crimea referendum.

(Zoran, 19 March 2014 12:41)

Agreed. It would have been a lot easier if the west wouldn't have insisted on (in the end, the failed idea of) creating a multi-ethnic, democratic Kosovo and did it the Russian way, i.e. allowing a referendum (probably boycotted by Serbs) two weeks after first KFOR soldiers came to Kosovo.

Then, people of Kosovo had the option to choose about joining Albania, or staying in YU, with the consitition before Milosevic removed the autonomy. Of course, Albanian soldiers without insignia would have been patrolling in front of the polling stations which were decorated in the Albanian colors and had transparent ballot boxes.

Pacolli would have saved some millions, the donors would have saved some billions.

Mere procedure or not Russia did recognize Crimea first. Don't say BBC and other news outlets are wrong. That would make you look bad. By the way Kosovo joining Albania is a mere procedure also. Kosovo de-facto is Albania. Students use the same textbooks, you can enter Albania by using ID's only, products from both countries leave and enter freely. The West tried to remove Dodik, and he called their bluff. They can not undemocratically remove him and he is pollitically savy enough to keep winning. He isn't going to lose any western support for this because he never had any. As far as his political career it might be a good bet to back the Russians. But it is a bet, and he is taking a political risk in doing this.

Dispute about legality or legitimacy of referendum is overshadowing the massacre in Kiev on 19.-21.Feb. 2014, an event which finalized the coup in Kiev, established the government which claims to be the legal one now in Ukraine. While by any account Crimea’s legal basis for holding a referendum is weak, so is also the legitimacy of present Ukrainian (Kiev) government especially if one takes seriously the claims related to Euromaidan massacre.

On the bottom line the referendum does matter. As the most people in Crimea want to join Russia so this can help to find a deal between U.S., the present government and Russia. A win-win face saving solution could be that Crimea will be annexed to Russia and as compensation Ukraine will get e.g. cheaper gas deal, most oligarchs can keep their loot, the ordinary people can get at best relatively stable conditions for a while and U.S. a puppet government in Kiev. The most important outcome could be that the battle moves from verge of war to political and economic fields (P.S: More in “Crimean referendum overshadows Euromaiden Crime” - http://arirusila.wordpress.com/2014/03/16/crimean-referendum-overshadows-euromaiden-crime/ )

Crimea Voted for their Constitutional Democracy, and the Video Titled: Terrorist Activities of 'Peaceful Demonstrators' explains why at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E18jWXbZY8U , and the Video is Titled: Breaking Estonian Foreign Minister Urmas Paet and Catherine Ashton at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kkC4Z67QuC0 .

The Illegitimate Coup Leaders in Kiev and the Euro-American Governments need to Confess these things if they wish to be Democracies.

What waits to be seen is if the Russians will further reward him, and or if the west will ignore him, or punish him.

"Crimea on the other hand merged with Russia, so it doesn't need recognition as Russia is already recognised. It kind of demonstrates the efficiency of Russia..."

What would he say if some Hungarian Priest said Vojvodina is Heart of Hungary, this is something I would like to understand? Jerusalem of Hungary is Novi Sad as Atila the Hun used to chill in Novi sad and took long baths in Kanjiza ....?

Lets live in 2014 where majority should choose be it in Vojvodina, Kosovo or Crimia .... Scotland. But there can not be vojvodina part of Serbia due to WW1 but no Kosovo due to loss in 1999 war its same thing.

Ari Rusila are you serious? Ukraine is already a deadbeat on Russia's gas. When they pay what they owe already, then they can talk about getting it cheaper.

To Paul: Yes I'm serious as I try to look face saving solution for all stakeholders to ease tensions and confrontation. Ukraine is in bankcrup, the economy in EU and Russia could be better and sanctions slow further development.

(Yet Another J S, 20 March 2014 13:15)
So very true and it is great to hear a Serb to highlight in their post that since 1999, the UNSC has determined that Serbia's territorial integrity may or may not include the land of Kosovo as shown below.

Crimea on the other hand merged with Russia, so it doesn't need recognition as Russia is already recognised. It kind of demonstrates the efficiency of Russia compared to the dictatorial force the west exerts, ultimately leading to death and destruction.

Hey Zoran, where are you getting your wrong information? You people are really funny. Stop making up stories as you go.

On the face of it his statement sounds strange but he is talking about a change of power soon to take over Europe and make right a few wrongs.
(sj, 19 March 2014 12:38)

I think you are a bit delayed, here, dear... According to the CE of B92 forums sj the change if power in Europe has already occurred, the EU has already collapsed and the same has happened already with the evil America. You need to pay more attention to the news from the CE of the B92 forums sj to keep up to date.

What's good for the goose is good for the gander.
