MikeC,
"The 100.000 something expelled from Kosovo, did that happen before the Nato bombing of Serbia or during? Kosovo should become independent because of this even though everyone knows the expulsion came after Nato bombs started to fall.."
The 100,000 came before the bombs once the invasion started and Milosevic knew he was on short time line the expulsions hit somewhere between 800,000 to 1,000,000. Did the bombing campaign cause this? If a person is holding a room full of hostages and as the police move in he kills them all, is the police responsible or is he?
Whether it was after the bombing started or not it still remains it was Milosevic's goal to rid Kosovo of Albanians one way or the other.

You are becoming quite a hoot, you criticize the US and Europe for their military actions, then you call them weak because they do not rush into Ukraine!!
The best one though is where you accuse the west of twisting things to fit their agenda.
Have you posted anything that you have not twisted the facts to fit your agenda? I think not.

"The 100.000 something expelled from Kosovo, did that happen before the Nato bombing of Serbia or during? Kosovo should become independent because of this even though everyone knows the expulsion came after Nato bombs started to fall.."

@MikeC- Who is everyone? You and the Serbs that did not agree with NATO's actions? I assume I am part of those you call everyone and I don't think the expulsion came after NATO. It was part of the policy from the start. Read Seselj's papers. This has been a policy since the 30's starting with Cubrilovic. Do we not count in what you call everyone? Is this another Albanian expulsion from your group?

Even if we assume it came after NATO; so what? Does that mean that it was OK for Serbia to expel people because of NATO's actions?

If you are claiming that NATO caused hundred's of thousands of people to leave, then how come it was only the Albanians? Did NATO develop a secret technology that segregated people based on nationality even though they lived in the same apartment building in the center of Prishtina, or are Serbs immune to bombs and therefore do not fear them when they fall from the sky?

Your argument does not pass the test of logic. No matter when the expulsion of the Albanians began, the fact that only Albanians were expelled and hundreds of Albanians are buried in mass graves inside Serbia shows that such heinious crimes and their cover up were the policy of the Serbian government.

The 100.000 something expelled from Kosovo, did that happen before the Nato bombing of Serbia or during? Kosovo should become independent because of this even though everyone knows the expulsion came after Nato bombs started to fall.. America and Europe has a tendency to twist things to fit their own agenda. Only blaming one side for all the evils even though all sides in the balkan war are to blame. Perhaps some are more to blame then others but all sides should be blamed. However, bombing a sovereign nation must be justified somehow. In this case through lies. When someone else does something the west would do in another part of the world its suddenly wrong. The west will get what it deserves. The West is anything but democratic and just and I pray they will get it where it hurts the most.

It doesn't work like that buddy. Hitler killed a lot of Jews in Germany, but just because he killed them in Germany and not in Belgium; it doesn't make it legal, alright, or acceptable. Just like it is not OK for someone to abuse their family as long as it is within their own house. The walls of your house do not give you immunity to abuse others. The same way your house can no longer protect you if you abuse your family, the same way could Serbia's borders not protect her from killing and ethnically cleansing thousands of Albanians in Kosova. There is a point when your neighbors can no longer soothe their consciences and remain silent for the abuse they see and they will gang up on you and stop the abuse. You can lock the door all you want. It is no longer about respecting your privacy. It is all about stopping the abuse and making sure your children are taken away from you. Any decent human being is able to see that others will not be concerned about your house being yours if they see you abuse your children. It's all about safeguarding the children from that point; it's not about your house anymore, even if it means getting in by kicking the door or breaking the windows. It is this simple.

No, this conflict shows that Russia doesn't care for international law, territorial integrity and sovereignty of independent states. And unlike in Kosovo, saying that the invasion of Russian soldiers was done to 'protect' the Russian minority is nonsense, because not a single Russian person was threatened, killed or expelled on Crimea - unlike the 1000s people killed and 100.000s expelled in Kosovo by Serbian troops and paramilitary.

Well, and if Putin should accept break-off Crimea joining Russia, he better keep their mouth shut in the future when it comes to Kosovo and its break-off from Serbia.
