NBS keeps key policy rate at 9.5 percent

The National Bank of Serbia (NBS) Executive Board decided on Thursday to keep the key policy rate at the same level - 9.5 percent.

Best support the efforts of the National Bank of Serbia to maintain the stability of the monetary system will boost economic activity, growth in production and exports. The new government should continue with the policy of energy saving in the public sector and to encourage the establishment and development of small and medium enterprises and the agricultural process as the basis for the decline in unemployment, the growth of production and the conditions for the growth of exports.
