I fail to see why Russia or the EU/US should have any interests in trying to sway Ukraine's so-called "direction", given how the country is can literally be cut in half in terms of geopolitical influence/allegiance. Sadly, with the world divided into these East-West blocs, it is almost obvious that any European country would want part of either the US/EU West or the Russian East, and Ukraine seems to almost be perfectly divided in terms of where they wish to "go".

The pro-Russian and Russophone East and especially South (inc. Russian Crimea) are obviously pushing towards the Customs Union, while the pro-Western and Ukrainian-speaking Center and especially Western Ukraine are pushing towards the EU. With this tug-of-war and both sides correctly, yet hypocritically accusing the other side of "meddling", it is obvious that neither side is generally interested in the interests of the Ukraine and only want to add them to their sphere of influence, yet this is impossible, given how radically different Ukraine is comparing their East-South to their West/Center.

The only thing that I fear both sides will achieve is a civil war, Yugoslavia-style, between East and West Ukraine, if both Russia and EU do not butt out of Ukraine's affairs. They should be allowed to decide on their fate by themselves. If it means a coup of the current government, so be it. The will of the people should come first, not the interests of superpowers.

I have no exact answers so what I mean is that the current history is utmost false. It can explain nothing. I saw a lot of TV debates over the New Chronology and each time traditional historians were cornered they said stupid things like the ancient technologies were lost like the Moon moved around the Earth with different speeds ect. They travelled to and fro in Europe but most artifacts were found in the South of Russia , on Balkans, in Yass region of Hungary , France , Spain and Britain (London , Croydon ect.) where they built their castles and towns.
