My guess is that it is because instead of Serbia and Serbs moving on they are not happy unless they are meddling in the affairs of others. Basically if you cannot stand the heat get out of the kitchen. As long as you are throwing rocks at your neighbors they are going to be tossing them back!

Why are you (some Croatians and most Kosovo Albanians) so interested in Serbia so that you have to comment day after day after day on everything in Serbia. You are free and non dependant on Serbia any longer, and way bother? I guess when you do not have a job, anywhere to go or do, because your economies are doing so great and life is so good in your lands, let's check on Serbia and kill some time.

I don't see why Serbs should be friends with this maniac. Since he drove the European-descended farmers off their farms, agricultural produce plummeted to even lower levels than they ever were during the worst droughts during when the European farmers ran the country's agriculture.

Today, the country is a complete and utter disaster and truly the world's best candidate for a failed state. And what's worse is that he won't even allow free and fair elections, he just holds on to the country like an incurable cancer inside an almost-dead organism, yet he still hates and blames Europeans (of which Serbia is a part of) for the sorry state that Zimbabwe is in today.

Serbia should absolutely boycott this country until that cancer dies.

Mikey,
Countries which have strong exports and econonimes can play that game. How strong are Serbian exports and her economy?
(alvanian, 12 February 2014 17:14)

The “game” of money printing is already being played in Serbia. The privately-owned foreign banks are lending the Serbian government and industry “money” which they just create out of thin air. That is how banks work in Serbia and in the rest of the world. This money creating process is called fractional reserve lending. What I am saying is that the Serbian government should be doing this instead of them paying private banksters billions to do it on their behalf. This has nothing to do with strong exports.

By the way, alvanian, you share a similar juvenile sense of humour with the unemployed oik, Ian UK. Funny that.

Money printing isn’t my idea, it is the official policy of the American Federal Reserve Bank, the Bank of England, Bank of Japan, and the European Central Bank. Together these central banks have created tens of trillions of dollars, pounds, Yen and Euros since 2008 and have done so WITHOUT INFLATION.

The hyper-inflation in Zimbabwe, Yugoslavia and the Weimar Republic was caused byforeign speculators who attacked these countries using a financial fraud called Short Selling. If you want to know what Short Selling is, then you will need to do a little more reading and a lot more Thinking.

Exactly, if you live on an island and are self sufficient then you can print all the money you want and live happily. But the rest of the world must interact and the more money you print the more your currency is devalued. Now if you take large economies that can handle it is one thing but when you take small economies such as Serbia and Zimbabwe you are committing suicide. Simple facts you fail to understand.
When you have a several trillion dollar economy and you print a few billion dollars you devalue your currency a smidgen, if you have a few billion dollar economy and you flood with billions of your currency you collapse.

(Michael Thomas, 12 February 2014 13:20)

Where did I hear those words before? Hmm.. Let me think. Ahh, yes, now I remember, it was some Kosovo Albanian posters here who regularily come up with a similar story that land was stolen from the 'original' Albanian land owners - killing and expelling was not so successful recently - this idea fired back :)

Michael Thomas

Seriously I thought Robert Mugabe has a hatred against white people. I seem to recall that race played a role when in the late 1990s or early 2000s that Mugabe confiscated farmland or at least some type of land belonging to white Zimbabweans so that is why one wonders why would he consider Serbia which is a nation predomantly inhabited by white people to be his friends when it may still appear that Mugabe despises whites.
(resident of Fredericton,New Brunswick,Canada, 12 February 2014 12:31)

According to Wikipeadia, in 1979 Zimbabwean whites made up 5% of the population, and counting only 4500 farmers, owned 70% of the most fertile land.

President Mugabe doesn’t hate white people; he hates the injustice that Britain brought to his people and to Africa generally. The Whites took possession of the land by killing and expelling the original African land-owners.

This can happen to countries with a weak currency which have huge deficit and need to import goods. Of course the exporters don't want to be payed in worthless Dinars, so the exchange rate rises and in the end, you have the hyper inflation (the vicious circle of price-salary increase) that destroys the savings of the ordinary people. But whom do I tell that, the Serbs of age > 25years know that well from their own experience.

We know, one of the main reasons your dictatorial self is still in power is that yugoslavia & then serbia supplied your regime the weapns it needed to hold onto power! Once the seeds of democracy take root in the middleast, it will be Africa's dictators which will have to find a spider-hole to hide in! Trust me Mugabe, you will suffer the same fate as S.Milosevic & S.Hussein, unless age takes its toll first?

Now there is a little criticism from our little Albanians over Serbia being friendly with Zimbabwe. Now let’s look at the US history; shall we?
Saudi Arabia, a country that is so barbaric who would even go there. Then there is Thaci in Kosovo, a known criminal that was on a US list of leading a terror group and who has no compunction in killing. Then there are the Islamist groups the US is helping to arm in Syria who are murdering women and children because they are of another faith
Then there were all those South American regimes through the 1960s,70s and 1980s
And you guys have the hide to criticise Serbia.

I'm pretty sure that despite the unequal distribution of land between White and Black people in Zimbabwe, the Black people would welcome with joy the wealth and stability Zimbabwe used to have back in the 1970s. Mugabe inherited a fertile and prosperous land. Now it is wasteland.

Funny that.

Thomas Jefferson believed in "commerce with all nations, alliance with none" Serbia understands what it is to be an international pariah and it understands that the people suffer the most when the country is hated.
