1990s-era customs chief acquitted in corruption case

The Special Court in Belgrade on Monday acquitted former Customs Directorate chief Mihalj Kertes, who stood trial on charges of transferring money to Cyprus.

And who was Kertes working for during the time that the money "disappeared", that's right, Mr. Milosevic and the SPS - today's leader of that party, that's right, Ivica Dacic. A thing of beauty how the socialists protect their own. With a charges as serious as the ones against Kertes, how could the court allow the statute of limitations to expire? I think anyone can figure that out. And these "good ol boys" want to go into the EU - funny.
