Serbia's labor law is the most rigid and anti-employment in Europe. This doesn't help Serbia's competitiveness or economic growth, and it kills jobs. The draft labor law would have gotten the law closer to that of a normal European country. Radulović is right though. Vućić is too busy worring about his popularity and micromanaging to actually make any reforms.

I never said that there was no need for an overhaul of Serbia’s labour law but I said that the actual proposal is very bad and would transform Serbia in a kind of European Bangladesh!

Where else would you get reduced salary when being on sick leave due to a WORK ACCIDENT?

There is widespread opposition to this bad reforms of the labor law.
The good thing is that this guy isn't in charge of anything anymore but the projected changes to the labor law have to be killed as well and negociated with the labor unions.
