"The government of Serbia demands that the leader of Citizens' Initiative “Serbia, Democracy, Justice” Oliver Ivanović be immediately released pending trial."

Is that the way things work in Serbia? Is it the practice there that the government demands from a judge whom to grant pretrial release and whom not to grant it?!

"An arrest for war crimes committed 15 years ago, while all those years Oliver Ivanović was available to them - both as an official in Priština institutions, and as a man living in Mitrovica and traveling around the world - it is, to say the least, absurd," said Vulin.

-- The Serbs are interesting people to say the least. So everyone in the organ harvesting hypothesis is automatically guilty even though this happened over 15 years ago, but Oliver Ivanovic is innocent automatically because these things happened over 15 years ago. This is not only ridiculous but quite frankly an idiotic reasoning. Since when is the passage of time a determining factor when it comes to guilt and innocence. Since when is the mere occurrence of having your passport stamped a determining factor of guilt and innocence. The disturbing fact in all of this is that this Vulin guy is considered a high caliber official. One that is supposed to bring progress. It is a sad state of affairs when progress is expected from one that so blatantly lacks any logic or that reasoning has managed to find a way to escape the biological vessel known as Vulin.

Smelli phart.DO not compare Oliver Ivanovic,Krstimir Pantic to Fatmir Limaj and Ramush Haradinaj
(Gollaku, 29 January 2014 04:09)

Yes you're right I shouldn't have compared them to Limaj or Haradinaj because the first group of people haven't done anything nearly as criminal or as monstrous as those two internationally protected barbarians. If Ivanovic or Pantic go to jail, Kosovo proves to be a lawless place. If Limaj or Haradinaj go to jail, or better hang from lamp post, Kosovo becomes a lot safer.

Hey Willi, you got anything else to say or are you still too busy recommending your own post?

If they are suddenly to start arresting criminals they should start with the biggest one of them all, their own prime minister aka terrorist-leader, organharvester and drugdealer. And then Ramush Haradinaj, but I guess we all know the reason why they aren´t arrested right?

Smelli phart.DO not compare Oliver Ivanovic,Krstimir Pantic to Fatmir Limaj and Ramush Haradinaj that doesn t make sense at all,as you know R.H and F.L have been scaned in courts for years ,but not found guilty, but O.I and K.P hope they haven t done anything on civilians. If they did unhuman crimes as i mentioned above, they deserve to be locked or stay behind bars for the rest of their life.

Kosovo authorities again trying that by the arrest of Ivanovic, provoking the Serbs in northern Kosovo and the Belgrade government, and causing fear and unrest, leading to an escalation of the conflict and the new opportunities under the pretext of responding to the violence in the north, our capture of the territory inhabited by the Serbs. Fortunately, the government in Belgrade, secure in the validity of its strategy, calmly watching the developments around Kosovo and tried to peacefully reason with the government in Pristina, and impose a solution that protects the interests of Serbia and the Serbs in Kosovo.

So Belgrade has proof that Oli did commit these crimes? I'm pretty sure part of your good-neighbor EU policy you have to hand over that information.

Also the councilmen are threatening that they will quit their positions? Well call me Sally, how are going to find qualified people to fill these posts in an area with like 80% unemployment

Since when does the Albanian mob decide if a person is guilty or not guilty?
(Smelli Phart, 28 January 2014 15:52)

Indeed, there was no Albanian mob asking neither the arrest, nor the release of Oliver. So, no Albanian mob decides that.

since when does the serb mob in northern Mitrovica decide if a peerson is guilty or not guilty. Those people heve been responsible for unlawful behaviour for over a decade, and it is known that Ivanovic is the person who is mainly responsible for that to be possible.

This was long overdue and Eulex finally shows its teeth. The man in black should be be next.

Since when does the Albanian mob decide if a person is guilty or not guilty? They raise a bloody storm everytime some KLA thug is arrested and celebrate when they're released because all the witnesses to testify against him end up dead.

You that dumb to get upset over Serbs protesting against Ivanovic when your beloved Albanians organize mass rallies in support of Fatmir Limaj and Ramush Haradinaj? If anything, EULEX needs to show teeth by arresting half of Pristina's elite.

And you have the gall to determine what "unlawful behavior" is. What a dim witted and intolerant little man you are.
