No they should not have been. This time it's very different as security is the most imporatant thing right now.
They would've and should've kicked their own off the site if they didn't have proper security clearance and right to work there.

Keep trying.

I agree with you here... somebody has to be a real brother to make exceptions, not a brother just with words.

The Russian authorities could have been a bit more lenient and friendly with their Serbian brothers :)

So what do you think Russia had to do with this? Please explain.
It was greedy corrupt Serbian agency workers who issued false documents.
How do you tie Russia into this. The only Russians guilty of this are supervisors and managers of part of the site these men went to.
Those Russians are probably getting prosecuted too.

If this happened in the U.S, Great Brititan, France or Canada, the respective governments would not issue an experssion of regret, an offer of co-operation, and a clarification of the incident. The fact that the Russians did this shows how excellent communication and co-operation is with the Russian people and Government.

Oh, yeah, absolutely. We know already that Russia is Serbia's biggest supporter and friend when it comes to words and issuing statements. But when it comes to actions, it's a different story. Serbia begged for UNSCR 1244 to be vetoed, but no action from Russia. Serbia begged for Serbs to be protected in Kosovo, but Russia withdrew the soldiers from Kosovo. Kosovo Serbs begged to become Russian citizens, but Russia refused it. And now after showing the door to the Serbian workers (the action), Russia issues a brotherly statement (the words). But, hey, everybody has preferences and apparently Serbs prefer the support with words, not actions, to consider somebody as a brother :)

Good job on shifting the blame to some Serbian brokers. No Russians had anything to do with this, even though the workers went to Sochi.

But even if illegal - if they did quality work on infrastructure which is or will be used and useful - then they should be compensated to some degree, just minus a percentage due to it being illegal.
Is Russia sanctioning or punishing the Russians who hired/used these workers? I mean it takes both sides for this to go on and Russians were involved to if there was building going on.

Yesterday some comenters here, mostly people who can not get enough of talking about Russia and Serbia were very negative in their apraisals. I would like to ask them if they think the US State Department will issue a statement of regret and a clarification to albania over this http://www.foxnews.com/us/2013/12/04/albanian-mother-deportation-put-on-hold-after-defying-order-from-ice/

or how about Great Britian http://www.warringtonguardian.co.uk/news/10919379.Drug_dealer_stopped_on_motorway_near_Thelwall_jailed_for_seven_years/
