These five members have good reasons not to recognize a unilaterally self-proclaimed state created by an ethnic minority on the soil of another state - and especially not a state like Kosovo which is ruled by several mafia groups instead who only play politicians and where human rights, democracy and protection of minorities are only written on paper.

Reading the above, I got almost convinced that Kosovo is Serbia, indeed :)

Then just maybe it would be more advantageous to think more about what will affect you and your family in the future, ie what life in Serbia is going to be. To focus on trying to prove Kosovo is a few steps behind Serbia does not better your life any, it only makes you have a false sense of superiority.
Kosovo is a neighbor now and in the future. What is happening on the other side of the fence is always far less important than what is happening in your own back yard.

"The Serbia fight on corruption is nothing more than to charge members and financiers of opposing parties with corruption to eliminate competition. Does it not bother you that not a single SNS politician nor promoter has been charged??"
(just a thought, 18 January 2014 03:57)

It bothers me more that Kosovo went down some positions on the Transparency international list of the least corrupt countries, i.e. getting more corrupt compared to the previous year, while Serbia is rated less corrupt then before. And yes, I trust these ratings much more than the silly cheering of the EU and other representatives that there have been 'improvements' in Kosovo and 'Kosovo is a success', which it is obviously not.

You might have had a valid argument had you picked 5 different countries!
But your reasoning is almost as laughable as the Russia condemns the EU on human rights article.
Coming from Serbs to talk about mafia, human rights and democracy is an oxymoron.

The government in Belgrade and Pristina, by signing of the Brussels Treaty, made a big step towards the stabilization of Kosovo, but more must be done that Serbs in Kosovo felt a greater degree of security and progress in improving the economic situation in Kosovo.

Dude, Serbia was promised the start of the talks with EU if it participated in the Brussels talks with Kosovo. Kosovo was promised something similar, progress on the road to the EU. This must be part of it.

"The resolution calls on the Kosovo authorities to do more in fighting corruption and organized crime."

Do more? This would imply that they do anything at all, which is not the case. Not surprising when you know that members of the 'Kosovo authorities' are the same people (or related to those) which are responsible for crime and corruption - up to the highest level of ministers.

It was a non-binding resolution folks, i.e. just a means for the useless MEPs to express themselves on the issue.

As for Lunatik and friends, she either belives that basic EU standards need to be implemented equally for all potential entrants, or she thinks her preferred favorites should be an exception. Unfortunately her opinion is that of the latter, so yet again we have another MEP who thinks the acquis communautaire is not that important at all, much like all the idiots who voted for Bg & Ro to join. If such institutions expressly ignore previous mistakes and repeat them over and over again, what is the value of the institution?
