Unfortunately, these silly SNS propaganda posts probably account for at least half of the comments on B92 English these days. I often wonder why the B92 moderators don't block them. Instead, they might block what I'm saying right now.

This latest "SNS.bot" gem is really priceless, because the comment implies that DOS politicians were guilty of protecting Curuvija's killers. Yeah, like it was totally safe for a DOS leader to try to take on the scum left over from the Milosevic years. Anyone ever hear of Zoran Djindjic?

Meanwhile, in the article about which we're commenting, Nikolic alludes to some negative comments that he made about Curuvija after the murder. What?! B92, please, open the archive for us foreigners and remind us what those remarks were! Imagine, a politician publicly speaking ill of the dead - but not just any deceased person, but a journalist allegedly liquidated by the state. What kind of idiot does that?! But dear SNS.bot poster, he's one of your beloved SNS politicians - indeed, the leader of the lot! And you try to laud Vucic and attack DOS?!

B92, while you're at it, dig back to late 1998, when Vucic was Minister of Information and cracking down on anti-Milosevic media. Remind us how he treated Curuvija in those days.

ahhh, the dilemma of the government schill posting online.

On one hand, they reveal themselves by pumping the brand of a political party or a politician. "Thanks to [politician]" is just not the way a normal person talks online.

One the other hand, that's kind of the whole point.

tip: Leave out the direct branding and boosterism and stick with the message and you'll do your job more effectively in the long run.

It is almost 15 years after the murder of Ćuruvija. At least twelve years, we were spent in the blurring of the truth by the DOS. They tricked hopes immediate families and citizens. In the famous "pact with the people", DOS promised to arrest the murderer for only one month in the year 2000. Thanks to Vucic and his professional work to uncover all the details and perpetrators, the veil of secrecy still will be over the truth about the "execution" of a not-so-ordinary, a citizen of Serbia.
