President explains why he won't back PM's Nobel nomination

Nikolic is a very old school...and I do not expect him to change even if he tried to convince the oyhers with a softly "fatherhood approach"....He still in his mind believes that "Kosovo is Serbia"...even knowing the fact he would need a visa/permission to get there....I can't see any therapy will help Nikolic....If anyone knows....please let us know. I suggest the price to be shared between Thaci and Seslj or Mladic. Though I didn't know before that a Nobel price for crime against humanity exists.

While I don't think that either Dacic nor Thaci should get a Nobel for peace, I think Nikolic reasons are pure jealousy and nothing else. Dacic and Thaci both have participated and made their deals out of pressure from the EU and not by free will therefore they should not be the ones rewarded.
Nikolic on the other hand made the decision that Dacic was to stand with Thaci to meet and negotiate with him. He did this because he wanted Dacic to get the blame for everything and leave himself clean. But when it comes down to Dacic actually getting the kudos instead of criticism he wants to block that. His ego is the problem, without a doubt he feels that if anyone deserves a Nobel it would be him as he has been the grandstander with his pseudo hunger strike that put him in a hospital after missing a couple of meals, and yet the Serbian people fell for his charades and elected him president.
But in reality what has he accomplished, everytime something happens it is Dacic or Vucic that is behind it. But he did get to have a 3 hour social conversation with the US president.
He would be singing a different tune if it was he who was being nominated.
