Don’t take these people seriously while some are paid propagandists, and bad ones at that, others are deluded individuals who take themselves so seriously that they are beginning to believe their own postings. I have commented on this site since 2008 and have not come across one that was ever employed in any senior position in government or private enterprise so I stick to just pocking them with a blunt stick in the eyes for amusement.
Considering that the EU is still in a huge quagmire and has had to borrow again only recently to cover deficits I doubt that Serbia will be joining the local book club let alone the EU in 2020 or 2050.
However, this tells us all we need to know about Albanian tolerance towards other.

Love this guy, from cleaning toilets to now foreseeing what will or will not be included in any future documents. Why are you not in a high paying government position or maybe the Brookings Institute????Kosovo cannot join jackshit without Serbia’s say-so.
Have a close read of what Thaci signed and you will see its so close to Bosnia its not funny. That is if he will ever release to the Albanians what was signed.

How about this comment, earlier on, "Actually, serbia can never join EU without Kosova's consent." "Kosova"? What is the derivative of "Kosova"? I've heard of "Kosovo". Any linguists who can come to our aid? My further question, why would Serbia even want to be in the EU, esp. if they need 'Kosova's consent' first? Very strange world we lie in. God help us!

Right now, we should be guessing which entity will disappear first, i.e. the EU or Serbia? So, why all the commotion about Serbia joining the EU. We know that can never happen, and if it did, it would serve no useful purpose because EU is a spent force. There are too many countries needing bailout as it is, beginning with Greece. We know the rest of them. If the EU is desperate to have Kosovo in its club, so be it. The EU can have that criminal enterprise, now that it also has Croatia. Serb should stay far away from that farcical fray.

I'll wager now that 2022 is the date of entry for Serbia. Achieving it by 2020 would mean moving faster than Croatia did, and they did not have the issue of Kosovo to deal with. Any other guesses?

"He explains that chapter 35, "referring to the normalization of relations with Kosovo, will cover the implementation of the agreements reached to date on customs, integrated border management, cadastre, registries, cooperation with EULEX and continuation of comprehensive normalization.""

That chapter will also include a clause that Serbia cannot veto Kosovo's EU admission, if Serbia becomes an EU member before Kosovo.

The opposite is also true; "Chapter 35" in EU's negotiations with Kosovo will include a clause that Kosovo cannot veto Serbia's EU admission, if Kosovo becomes an EU member before Serbia.

The EU has learned the lesson and won't create another Cyprus-Turkey headache, knowing very well how Balkans people think.

If it continues and speed up little bit with necessary reforms, why not, it is achievable. But even a sparrow knows that entrance into EU mostly depends on the politicians from Brussels, if they say yes today, we can be there even tomorrow.

We all know that serbia has to recognize Kosovo and promise not to interfere in its bid to join world bodies including EU & UN.
