At least 'nomalization with 'Kosovo*' wasn't attached to each chapter, but it is neither a great victory as Chapter 35 is also one of the first to be opened.

Belgrade needs to pressure Brussels to see effective measures to improve the basic human rights of the few remaining Serbs, Roma and others in Kosovo and that Pristina stops harassing and threatening them.

The onus should be be placed Brussels ad Pristina. The ball is firmly in their court. Time to deliver.

Ordinary consumer - nothing comes for free!! If money is invested in Serbia it will come with strings. Individuals who think they will be able to steal public money may be a little disappointed, just saying!!

It’s a great new for Serbia. This is a historic event for Serbia, the day that many generations have awaited and the political goal of many politicians and Government. Serbia has waited for years for this report to the EC, trying to cope with their problems and adapt through structural reforms to EU standards. We all know that it was not easy, we are made tough decisions, there were a lot of problems, even sometimes Serbia was blackmailed by the EU. This is the end of a difficult start.

Ordinary consumer- that's exactly what Croatians thought and things have never been worse for them. The EU is good for some things, but let's not get carried away and concentrate on things we can effectively improve.
