So true, question is what to prefer 100% of a million and no outside prospects/clout or 30% of 10 million and many more markets and production centres. Fuel up to standard, tourists getting quality and convinence at modern gas pumps and heavy vehicle transit routes increasing.

The offshoots are many, paying off roads faster, a partner in currency stabilization, faster entry into foreign markets, increased employment, increased taxation revenues, exports, changing the company from oil supply to leading balkan energy supplier etc.

Russia is a beacon and it's promises are more tangible for the average man in the Serbian street. Ukraine could learn and earn alot.

B92 has failed to pay any attention to the deal itself while it remains the news number one in Europe. Now we are offered to discuss the vision of the comprador minority of the Ukrainians. Without long talks Russia has offered everything our brothers were dreaming of. 15 Bln. euro against 0,8 Bln. EU offered under the conditions printed on 900 pages. We have cut down the gas prices for 33% and we offered industrial orders for USD 15 Bln. There’s a Russian saying DON’T TEACH ME HOW TO LIVE BETTER GIVE ME A MATERIAL HELP. That’s exactly what Russia has done to our brothers. And we little care what the west and their sold out soul puppets inside the Russian states will bark. Look closer at the opposition in the Ukraine :

1. A boxer to challenge his 60 year old President to the ring for a "honest fight" as he said. The one to know German much better than the Ukrainian language.

2. An open anti-Semite Nazi with Nazi symbol on his flag and an open Homophobe whom Westerwelle tried to escape.

3. A Jew to expose himself as a Ukrainian nationalist.

4. An old lady imprisoned for stealing gas and for organizing murder of her opponent. By the way also a Ukrainian nationalist of Jewish origyn.

Russia has won this battle but the war is only starting. We have experience of setting these lands free from Germany and it’s allies. One of the sequences of the battle for the Ukraine will be Serbia’s fast progress to the candidacy. If only you really need it.

Must be similar to the Serbian government's agreement of 'selling' NIS to Gazprom without an open and free public tender in exchange for South Stream and who knows what more they were promised by Russia.

No. Russia gave Ukraine more money than the EU could. Russia can do more for Ukraine because the EU has a lot more internal problems with their own members to even consider taking on new members.

This is the right move for Ukraine because Ukraine's goods cannot compete on the European market and often times wont be able to compete in their own markets. This is largely the same with Serbia as well minus perhaps foodstuffs which can do relatively well in Western markets. Trade pacts/common markets only work if there isn't such a disparity between trading countries. In the EU this already exists and it will grow even larger if countries in the Balkans continue to join.

I get you want Serbia to join this failed union. But there's no reason to be a Russophobe. Russia has done nothing to earn such hate from anyone in Serbia, even if there are those who still want ties to the West.

PS the Gazprom deal turned NIS into one of the strongest natural gas companies in the region. Its just like with Etihad. It purchased JAT for a bit under value and have managed to inject life into a failing state-run industry that was laying people off.

Funny, I don't hear you complaining about the JAT-Etihad deal... hypocrite.

Although details of the Yanukovych-Putin agreement reached yesterday in Moscow are not completely known, Oleg Tyanibok, leader of an opposition right-wing group, said that the president had "pawned entire (economic) sectors."

Of course they do. I mean what else can these western funded "nationalists" "papists" hooligans, neo-nazis and outright fascist do? Come up with a better deal?

Their US and €USSR patrons couldn´t even cough up a few million and every cent of that would have been conditioned with hard core neo-liberal diktats, budget cuts, pension and salary cuts and an eternal membership in the "happy" club of hundreds of million EUSSR members in absolute poverty, a ticket to the very bottom of the €USSR Titanic and of course lost sovereignty to €U and IMF.

What were the Russian conditions for multi billion dollar loan and ridiculously low gas prices again? Non what so ever and i say it again: NON! Now that should give some food for thought for the western imposed quisling regime and their dwindling and very puerile supporters that still believes they are going to be instant millionaires once the deal with Faust is signed...
