However, the agreement you mention would be a legal agreement between the EU and Serbia and not Kosovo and Serbia, so my bet is you are wrong on all counts.
(Comm. Parrisson, 18 December 2013 11:11)
My apologies, I do not know how that ended up under your post it was suppose to be my response to your post. To any who read this Comm. Parrisson did not say this I did.

For the user whom posted the following.

"EU member states. I believe that the reform process will be accelerated, and that as the country prepares point of entry into the EU and the standard of the citizens to grow and improve the quality of life."

LOL thats a good laugh EU improving quality of life and the standard of the citizens to grow?
Are you high? why dont you ask the Greeks to see if they have the standard that you are asking for.

Is this surprising? Not really! This legally binding agreement at the end of the accession talks will state that Serbia will join the EU without the territory of Kosovo, just like Cyprus joined the EU without the disputed territory of the not internationally recognized, self-proclaimed state of Northern Cyprus.

I am sure it will contain a bit more, like that Serbia WILL NOT make any attempt to block Kosovo's ascension into the EU. But there will be a huge difference in Cyprus and Serbia, as Kosovo is internationally recognized as Northern Cyprus is not.

Well, I'm not sure if Greeks are jealous of the high living standards and quality of life Serbs can enjoy in their non-EU country. Btw., some decades ago, Greece had comparable poor living standard (or an even worse one) compared to ex-YU before they joined the EU/EC.

Sarcasm if you don't recognize.

I hope sj and Ari Gold are paying attention.

But both will tell you that this is just a ruse and it is part of the big plan to reintegrate Kosovo under the total rule of Serbia with absolutely no rights to Albanians except the scraps that Serbs will give them.
I am sure they were both present at the behind the door meetings that were not released to the public. After all they know more than anyone who reads what is actually in print. I have it by reliable sources that they have been chosen to be the first to announce the China-Russia decision to abolish the UN and place Serbia at the helm as ruler of the world.

"The ministers also included in the framework for the talks a clause that had been disputed, which says that Belgrade and Priština have to sign a legally binding agreement by the end of the accession talks with Serbia, Erjavec noted.

I think the EU is starting to lose grip with this "normalization of relations" nonsense. Fule was clearly uncomfortable with the line of question regarding recognition of Kosovo. While I'm sure that condition already exists behind closed doors, they still can't come out and say it publicly. Otherwise the Serbian government would have to halt membership aspirations (per their promise) or risk collapse and early elections.

The Count of Kosova

I guess the Serbs are so giddy at the news that they forgot to read the fine print:

Fruele did not answer directly to the question of whether the mention of a legally binding document in the framework for the talks meant the EU expected Serbia to recognize Kosovo at the end of the negotiations.

Conclusions should not be rushed, he stated.

"This is above all, about evaluating the progress in the normalization of the relations between Belgrade and Priština. The whole framework for the talks should be read, as it clearly states that the EU expects further steps towards the normalization," the EU official told a news conference after a ministerial meeting. (End quote)

Do the Serbs know what they are getting themselves into!
I hope sj and Ari Gold are paying attention.

sj and Ari Gold should pay special attention to the following lines from the article above:

"The ministers also included in the framework for the talks a clause that had been disputed, which says that Belgrade and Priština have to sign a legally binding agreement by the end of the accession talks with Serbia, Erjavec noted.

Several countries led by Spain opposed this clause until now, but they accepted it in the end at Germany's insistence.

The framework for the talks also states that the dialogue between Belgrade and Priština should lead to a comprehensive normalization of relations between the two sides."

Starting talks with the EU, is a historic event for Serbia. It is very important that Serbia now go carefully through legislative changes and their compliance with EU law, in order to avoid some hasty modifications strategic law before it takes weakened future position in society, EU member states. I believe that the reform process will be accelerated, and that as the country prepares point of entry into the EU and the standard of the citizens to grow and improve the quality of life.
