With that sort of attitude, you fail to qualify as a European. A more appropriate term would be "Barbarian".
(True European, 14 December 2013 20:23)
Oh boo hoo poor you.
To think your people were subjected at some point in history to ethnic cleansing by another group and we're not devoting every waking moment of our lives to commemorate it. News flash: this happened to EVERYONE at some point in the last 100 years. Good thing Albanians had a real country to save them from what befell the Armenians. If you were driven out of Kosovo and remained out, if you lost your homes and your means livelihood, then you might have a point.
I can't believe you and others are actually trying to compare yourselves to the Armenian Genocide where 1.5 million people were systematically killed and their homelands were forever lost.
You instigated a problem.
You suffered.
NATO got involved.
The Serbs withdrew.
You went back.
You took revenge on the Serbian population.
You got a country out of it.
Consider your suffering to be paid off.
You got more than most other people who were subjected to far worse.
End of story.

Serbia has a long way to go to be considered European, geographical location is not enough. Her vile reputation is too vivid in the minds of true Europeans. Serbs are no better than the Turks of 1917. Today's modern civilized Turks put the Serbs to shame. It will be another 50 years before Serbia will be allowed to join the EU.

The lies that Erdogan tells about the Armenians and the lies that the Albanians tell about the Serbs are one and the same. Why do they lie? Islam. Islam is a genocidal creed that has never spread its beliefs except through cruel and violent domination. Byzantium, the Balkans, India, North Africa, even Arabia and Persia would not be Muslim today if not for bloody subjugation.

A disgusting attempt to hijack the tragedy of the Armenian people to bleat about Kosovo. My great grandfather was one of the few that survived the horrors of the genocide. Show some respect.

The Kos.Albos were not expelled at all and you know it. They had a brief holiday in Macedonia ,where they are equally unwelcome, at the behest of the Americans and NATO so they could get on with their occupation of the southern SERBIAN province of KOSOVO.Now that's "the truth" so don't come crying a river to me you irritating aristocrat.

The story is far from over. However, it has been documented, thus far, for the world to remember. We will not allow the Serbs to attempt to sweep under the carpet the events of 1998-1999 in Kosova.

And this is an article on the Armenian Genocide. Stop trying to make everything revolve around you, and don't even attempt to equate what you went through with what happened to the Armenians.

Your contention that because Serbia was humiliated in defeat and thus the majority of Kosovars returned home to find 100,000 of their houses burned to the ground, is no reason to expect the story to be over. The thousands of Kosovar civilians murdered by Serb military, MUP and paramilitaries has not been forgotten and these Serb criminals have yet to be brought to justice.

Sorry, Mr. Davutoglu, it was no 'deportation', but an expulsion. And it was not 'inhumane', but a well-organized genocide. Probably will take Turkey another 50 years to finally admit this truth.
