Nico, Duro, true a nickel profit is better than no profit, I wonder how much NIS has added to the Russian budget?? Considering that Serbia has begged anyone that will listen for loans over the last year and a half and the sacrifices made to get upcoming EU dollars, it is not surprising that NIS contributes 10 percent of the budget but one has to wonder what percentage of the state budget is paid to NIS probably a lot more than 10%
So enjoy your nickel.

And this data should silence all the critics to agreement with the Russians....perhaps the acquiring price was lower than it could be achieved in a open competition, but that was ruined company that need much money and much investments and only biggest companies in the world from that branch could support it financially......now it is profitable, paying to Serbia all of its duties and taxes in time. I do not believe there would be any better to Serbia if it was sold to MOL or OMV, on the contrary, it would be much worse. Full support to the Government and its future agreements with Russians (on mutual benefit, of course, not only for one at expense of the other).

Ah Comm. Parrisson, still too proud to admit when you were wrong, I see.

Look I agree with you in principle that the NIS-Gazprom deal was shady and unfavorable looking at it in the short-term basis, but you need to look from the long-term. This deal not only saved NIS from bankruptcy, its actually prospered because of it. A prosperous NIS that will continue to pay taxes into the state budget every year. You don't need to be a genius to understand the benefits of that. Your negative prejudices against the Russians clouds your better judgment. Whatever you think of them, they know how to run an oil and gas company like no other.

NIS has become Serbia's second biggest exporter, FIAT being the biggest, and it has recorded a 63 percent growth of export in the first 10 months of this year compared to 2012, Dačić was quoted as saying.

And who's Serbia's biggest importer? Probably NIS, too, since most of its business is simply distribution of Russian oil and gas.
