Its focus will be "informing foreign audiences about Russia’s policies and the way of life," it has been announced.

Hmmm... sounds a lot like RFE/RL and VOA so why all the anti-Russia chest beating?

Russia is as bad as it was before. They just want to rebuilt the Soviet Empire. But we did not forget and now we are in NATO. They can take Serbia but than Serbia will be out of Europe. You decide.

Ironic,
This is the life the Serbs from the west wish for those who remain behind in the homeland. One has to wonder.
Of Course Putin did not bomb them to stop an oppression, he only wants to bring them under his reign of oppression.

"So it was just a matter of time when they will be "reorganized". "

I agree, it's strange that it took so long for Putin to put at least public state media under his full control, install a boot licker as head, and turn it to a propaganda outlet for his interests.

More like: Spreading propaganda for Putin's party, his regime, and his sometimes weired ideas of how life should be.

I have no idea why B92 needs to publish such a technical news. It's just a reorganization of the propaganda machine. Initially Novosty Agency was established in the USSR for counter propaganda but during Yeltsyn it became a strong point of the liberal grants receiving anti Russian journalists. So it was just a matter of time when they will be "reorganized". If I were to decide I would do this a decade earlier. Now that the ideological attacks at Russia became routine we have to defend ourselves somehow. Meanwhile Dmitry Kiselev receives no western grants and is a good Russian. Unlike another TV showman Evgeny Kiselev who have sold his black soul to the US Embassy.
