There are two ways to privatise Serbian sport. The first is to sell to Arab, Chinese and American billionaires who will love to have potential world-beating Serbian football, basketball, hickey, and water polo teams in their portfolios. The second option is to give the clubs to their supporters using a Barcelona model of ownership.

My guess is that Arabs have already been lined up to take over the major Serbian clubs.

For Serbian sport and its development is much better that the state to withdraw from the management and ownership structures. It should finally resolve the issue of the two largest Serbian club, maybe it should make their privatization, and thus resolve their debts.
