The initiative of the group "On behalf of the family" to define marriage as a union between a man and a woman has won the most votes in a referendum in Croatia.
marriage is only a civil union. why on earth does it bother people if two people of the same sex want to get married? what does it have to do with anyone else?
people have been gay forever and it has not been a secret, hence "Alexander the great" but guess what they kept that behind closed doors, thus it did not bother anyone.
if the ustase want a pure marriage, big freaking deal. It seems all slavics want the same and western countries wish that they could vote the same without getting charged with a hate crime.. Its their country they can do what they want, no one complains that women aren't allowed to drive in Saudi Arabia or if they do that they get slashed..
I support gay rights, and think that many gays would make better parents than most people out there......The only thing I see in this whole is
that Serbia will probably NOT be allowed into the EU until they legalize gay marriage, OR Serbia will never have the option to vote but just rather be told that it is NOW legal. Same as with the parade, so many other countries do not have a gay parade (Slovenia-EU member) and I don't see anyone getting worked up about it like in Serbia. So to me this is all just plain injustice like everything else. I hope the EU forces Kosovo to legalize gay marriages, that will be a hoot to witness.

To my knowledge, it is only Italy, Poland, Romania Greece, Bulgaria, Slovakia and the Baltics (as far as EU countries go), where it is not recognized or legal, and now we have Croatia.

Unfortunately, the most sick twisted souls are those of self-proclaimed 'patriots', 'believers' and 'defenders'. With their actions, they brought misery to the whole Balkans during the last decades.
Thank god our traditions continue without hinderence. We don't need to be exposed to new diseases because of these people. What on gods earth have these people contributed to our society.
