"In a message to other members of NATO, France's decision was reportedly explained with the words that there was "no longer a military threat" in Kosovo, and that the overall security situation allowed for the troops to leave."

Yes, no military thread in Kosovo, only several drug mafia groups and local clans of criminals (in the north and in the south) who play politicians are spreading terror amongst the population and minorities, the weak police is cooperating with these groups instead of providing public order. Well, it's nothing special, business as usual in failed state. Okay, Kosovo is special, usually, you'll find failed states are in Africa or Asia and not in Europe.

The French have a mixed performance in Kosovo. You did have some French soldiers aiding and making friends with Serbs (or pretending to be friends). But then you saw these same French deserting Serbian towns and guarding of religious shrines during the 2004 riots. French are rather cowardly against any real fighting. They also were known to desert Croatian Serb villages before they were wiped out by the Croats. Because of the French performance in Croatia, the Serbs there no longer would accept them, so the Canadians were brought it instead. The Canadian soldiers then witnessed the Medak Pocket massacre because they didn't desert just before the Croat attack as they were ordered by the upper levels of the UN.

One by one the occupiers will leave. This truly is a good day. The Turks occupied Serbia for 500 years. Being occupied by the French, english, Germans and the U.S.A is a piece of cake.
