Agreed. However that Mufti bloke (whatever that is) is taking about autonomy not a Sandzak Republic.

That's how it goes in the Balkans. First the Communist authorities said the new divisions within Yugoslavia are simply administrative and nothing more. Then overnight, these "administrative" borders become "Bosnia"
and "Croatia" with full territorial integrity. Then Milo Djukanovic switches his rhetoric from a Serbian nationalist to a Montenegrin one and first talks about just have a "loose union". This results into independence (which I actually agree with because Serbia is much larger than Montenegro to have equal republic status with it). This formula is being emulated by a select view of criminal "Vojvodinists" (who have no legitimacy with the people of Vojvodina) and yes the Muftis religious organization in Raski Oblast (sandzak). Luckily it doesn't seem like these opportunists will get their way.

He obviously has no plan other than to rile people up and make trouble for his own people. He wants a autonomy over a region in two countries, and he wants his capital to be a city that isn't predominantly muslim. Not only that, but many of the muslims in this region belong to another camp and don't like him. Plus there is the small matter of budgets, where would he get the money to run a cross border autonomous region that does not have the money to support itself plus another layer of government?

He plans to ask for stuff he can't have and no one wants him to have in order to look like some visionary. Instead of getting angry people should just laugh and shake their heads

I just checked on Wikipedia, Pljevlja municipality has a population of only 35,806 of whom only 3,867 (12.16%) declare themselves as Bosniak or Moslem. Why would this town be chosen as the “capital” of a new Moslem republic of Sandjak?
