Jesus, Nate, who sent you here on this site to make stupid, incomprehensible statements? If you are paid to do so, at least know English better. The reasons behind the pardon request by Mr. Markovic to the president is actually unknown to the public. Who the hell knows what goews on in Serbian politics? Serbia is an abnormal country, so who can ever judge any normal process? First of all, how can a president ever pardon a repeat murderer, is beyond comprehension to the Western legal system. The guy offs 4/5 people, and Nikolic can say, "OK, you.re free to go", is beyond comprehension for a western democracy. Serbian politics, like their "big brother" show, is pretty much the same. Lots of theatrics, but no meaning.

of course that he will make the decision independently....is he a President or not? I do not believe that someone can impact him relating to this decision......

There is an exact procedure which is neccessary if somebody send request for pardon. The Pardon Comission is one of the istance which has to give its oppinion and suggestion to President. That may affect or not the President's final decision. The speculation in a public is needless. And the Markovic's statements which he use to make a pressure on the current government are totally unacceptable, also.
